Hi Sepa, thanks for stopping by
Unfortunately I think I'm worse now than I was when I posted on the last weekI went to the docs the next day and got some anti-biotics so I'm half way through them now and I've started to take a tonic again today which I used to take a few months ago and then got out of the habit of
I think if I'd slowed down nearly three weeks ago when I first started to feel bad then it might have helped. I don't know about you but when I look back at the odd times that I've been bad you keep trying to push through it, sometimes this works but then other times it just seems to store up trouble and then when you eventually give in (which I've done now) it all hits you!
Regards

So.... I've eventually got round to updating my signature for my April OP's, usually that's my favourite task of the month but I just haven't had to the oomph to do anything recently
But, it's done now! It also shows some nice things- i've just tipped into the over £40k repaid since I started my diary four years ago (April 08) so an average of £10k repaid a year and whilst good it's still not good enough
- I'm at 25% of my stated OP aims for the year so bang on track though definately want to exceed it
- that said, ive stated I wanted to make capital reductions of at least £1000 per month and I'm a little behind with that, £297.73 to be exact but I think I can make that up this month
I've also had a kind of unexpected bonus. I think it will be c. £2.5k and I've decided to use some of it to repay the remainder of tax loan from parents and also do some stuff in the house like decorating and cleaning of carpets and furniture. I'd wanted to do it last year then talked myself out of it as being a bit irresponsible while owing parents money and it wasn't desperate to be done. So, I'm definately going to have it done now; i did get some quotes last year and know who I'm going to go with so I just need to arrange that but it's unlikely to be done before July.
Regards

Hi Takeaway Addict, thanks for stopping by and for your kind words about my overpayments, I'm getting there it just never seems fast enough does it and I need to really knuckle down if I'm to meet my planned MF date as I'm a bit behind track at the moment
Well done on your own achievements, i can see by your signature that you've started to make inroads to your loan and have a plan to cut the term by half which has got to be a good thing. You never know, as your balance gets lower you might be able to do some clever reshuffling of the debt to a 0% credit card or rate for the life of the balance that is lower than your loan interest rate
Good luck with your plans

Hi there MCI, thanks for stopping by, I'm still bad but have turned a corner now I think (hope!) the first set of anti-biotics weren't fuly effective so I'm now on the second (and stronger!) batch
I think my brain is now starting to work a little too :rotfl:so if I'm up to it later I might even have a play with my spreadsheet

Hi Tilly, yes, I'm poorly badLet's just say I am now getting plenty of rest and taking care (should have stopped and done it sooner!). I'm still not quite right but things are improving so hopefully I've turned a corner.
I'm off out for lunch in a mo and couldn't have even faced the thought this time last week so that's got to be good
Regards
