Skivving off running again tonight - its pouring down and there's hailstones too! not been now for about 3 weeks. 5 1/2 weeks til first 10K! Guess there's no excuse for not completing todays list now.

Oven on for tea - was going to have a try at glamorgan sausages but got no onion. Oh well, got haddock fishcakes in for the kids so think they'll end up with that and potato waffles and frozen peas. Having a 'not much inspiration with cooking week' this week.

Oh look - DD2 is very kindly 'filing' my box of paperwork for me all over the lounge floor!

Hev - Don't stress with the flying - I find it pretty impossible to get much done with my 15 month old around my ankles so I tend to do things when she's in bed, particularly the hoovering. The other day she managed to turn the laptop screen upside down - she'd have had to press ctrl, shift and up all at the same time to do that!? then yesterday whilst I nipped in the kitchen to get something she managed to prise 3 keys off the laptop - could only see 2 of them in her hand at first - thought she'd be pooing an 'x' at some point. Fortunately we found it before we ventured to A&E! lol

Happy Birthday, Michelle! sorry, a bit late i know, hope you're having a good day!

Just got in, had a cuppa and caught up a bit on here. Feeling a bit carp, absolutely worn out, suffering with backache quite a bit, so not sleeping too well.

WM on, ironing planned to do later, will try. Nothing else depsarate as I did everything a few days late last week.

We have left over roast beef for tea, not sure really what to do with it, DS2 asking for chips!

  • Hi everyone,

Parcelforce man arrived, so I had no excuse not to kick myself and the little people into town (had another small parcel to post) and a few other errands. I wasn't quite sure how far I would get but managed them all and came home with the same number of children that I left with ;)

So feeling a bit better - can't smell or taste anything - but can hold my head up now. Off to make a pie for supper and then if I have any energy left will look at the list... I really need to keep on top of things this week dd1 has friend coming to play on Friday and I need to find time to cut the [STRIKE]moss[/STRIKE] grass :o

I at least need to prep kitchen/utility for lino man tomorrow and then sort out the mountains of washing for when DH hooks WM back up... urgh

Hopefully back later with a list of jobs done.

    Savoury mince question..

We have.. mixed veg to put in (brocolocolli, shoe-flower, peas, carrots, onion) .. pork mince.. woudl it be entirely vile to sling a handfull of red lentils in as well to pack it out a bit? I am hoping to get enough left to do cottage pie for Wednesday.. or at least enough for one for me and hubby to share..

The small bodies have about half a ladle each and hubby and I have about 1.5 each.. Would it be enough??

Back from ortho and DS1 has a 3 month break from his brace so he is chuffed. May well have to go for fixed ones after that but he seems alright about that too.

DS1 and DS3 now playing footie in the garden. DS2 cheeks still red but he says he feels ok. He has been sent to do another TQ note. I have no idea what to do for tea - DS2 wants spag bol - that is ok I have a little bit frozen so need to see what I have for the other 2 and me.
