    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Michelle :bdaycake:

Sorry haven't been around much lately - me and my computer have both had a virus............

Now I'm feeling a bit brighter, need to get back into a routine.

    Today's list:-
    Open windows to air
    Dust living rooms
    Clean mirrors and pics
    Clean front door
Clean skirting board in hall and from living room
    Put away laundry
    HI (HHI won't get close)
    Sweep laundry room floor
    Sort coats
    Change bed
    Wash bedclothes

    Stuff for work tonight:-

Book and wedding folder - start a wedding checklist
    Speak to Mo about cake
H+S stuff - start to read folder
Send email to Russel re: assignment 2
Look about misselling endowments on MSE for Mum

I think that I'm going to have to start some cracking great lists to get me through the next few months - I've got that much up in the air, with the wedding to organise, a H+S qualification to do, sorting out my flippin' family and keeping up with my job/friends/training commitments that I'm feeling breathless and muddleheaded just thinking about them - oh and I need to lose weight but every time I try, I seem to get laid up with some lurgy that stops me from exercising.................*growl*

Pigpen you'll have to use those fluffy mules to get me on the straight and narrow again!

I'm sorry if i've missed out on lots this last few weeks but my head has been spinning and I promise to try harder to keep up with you all

    LG

Happy Birthday Michelle! Here have more cake - :bdaycake:
Nicki - my paperwork is just as bad - no, in fact, its worse than that. I keep avoiding the 15 minute paperwork task, now I think it'll take 15 hours!

Ok, here's the list: motivation a little low today - putting off the lounge till later.

Mad Monday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
    Level One

remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace
[STRIKE]Open the windows and let in some fresh air
[/STRIKE] Front door was open when I cleaned it, that's enough - Flipping freezing![EMAIL="bl@Level"][/email]
    Level Two
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Wipe and water neglected plants
    Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
    Level Three
Vacuum under the furniture you can move
    Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.
    Clear a hotspot
Vacuum hall and stairs.. all the way up to the top!!!!! Hall gets mopped on kitchen day and stairs get done on master bed and landing day.
    Extras

    • [STRIKE]Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Wipe front door.. inside and out! [/STRIKE]
    • Wash any nets/curtains that need cleaning.. put up fresh ones!
    • Sort that corner full of shoes and coats and bags... I know you all put this off so get it sorted.. before the better weather hits!!
Ok, so it doesn't look like I've done much, but the front door took ages! (only cos I've not cleaned it for, ooh, about 3 years!!)

dusty will have to remember that to tell DH later - good one!

    Michelle, give them hell honey!!!

I did do a bit of ranting. The actual fitter wasn't at fault. Three of them turned up around 1, and were done by 1:15. It is the shop at fault for giving them 3 jobs to do in one 3 hour slot and not allowing them time to travel between the jobs. As usual, penny pinching when it is not beneficial to the customer.

I've had to reschedule lunch out from 1 to 2:30, which was ok that my friend was able to do that. But i can't see me being around when the other friend turns up after work. Can't do everything.

I wouldn't have been as bothered about them being late if it hadn't meant rearranging the lunch with my friend, but i didn't want to upset her day too much as she has a young baby (4 months) so didn't want her sat in the pub waiting for me at 1.

Oh well, gave me time to run the hoover round where the little carpetty bits were, and i also moved some of the lighter bits like the laundry basket back into that room.

More palava later - we need to move everything out of the back bedroom and DS's room that DH spent an hour moving this morning back into the newly decorated room, so that DH can assemble our bed back in the new room. And at some stage, the wardrobes will have to be finished off in there, so it is still not done.

Only thing left now in DS's new room is to put pictures up, move his fire engine bed and wardrobes in there, and it will be good to go. And i wonder why i feel stressed. DH just takes it all in his stride but it really winds me up redoing things time and time again.

Right, going to take a couple of things out of the car now so i can go and meet my mate. See you all tonight, when i can garauntee i will be knackered and happy to see you all.

    Michelle, x

Argos - we'll collect the chair (that snapped in 3 places) between 7am and 1pm, noone here yet! Time to yell!! Well I will when they answer the phone, been on hold 12 minutes so far. Michelle you are so right, can't rely on anyone.

DP suggesting Metro Centre as we need another chair (refused replacement after this one snapped) pay cheques into bank (hoping they are accepted as one for a few £ is over 6 month old) , more paper, more folders, trousers for DS1, collar for one woofer and many other things, can't leave the house until I have spoken to flaming Argos, wonder if we can take it back to the shop...

LG sorry to hear you've been feeling unwell, run, before pigpen gets you with those mules... :rotfl:

Those with paperwork issues, spend between 5 and 15 minutes every day, work out a system (I have several files, filing cabinet, a 2 drawer thing for 'to be filed/to be dealt with then every January I file away the year paperwork) and I am sure you'll have it cleared in no time.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Can anyone tell me - do we have a month off council tax this month. Noticed council tax DD not gone - usually goes on 1st. Maybe I'm £128 richer this month? Here's hoping!
