    ARGHHH!!

Does anyone know best way to get a flourescent yellow highlighter mark out of a white bedsheet??!!

I was working on my uni work sat on my bed last night and this morning. (Belly makes it too uncomfortable to sit at the dining table at the mo :o ) Just went off to make a cuppa and come back to find i'd left the lid off my highlighter and now have a HUGE fluro yellow stain on the sheet!!! :(:(

Should i treat it with something prior to washing it? Or just bung it in the wash with biological powder on a 60?:confused:

*realises its gonna be one them days* :(

Johanne, oh dear..it's unlikely to be water based ink so will probably need a solvent to shift it like stain devil for ink or something similar. Hopefully someone on here will have some suggestions.

Whoever sent good luck and money vibes my way THANK YOU!!!!!!! :D Just got back from picking up the playstation (some of the games will be going on ebay as they're not suitable for DD and I'm not interested in them but there's a couple that won't and any monies raised will pay for new games ;) ) to find a cheque from the council for £20 in "respect of" DD  Cashed it already so thats me £20 up which more than pays for something I bought this morning for her :D

Right, I should really get on with moving this paper mountain and tidying out the chest of drawers come filing cabinet to make sure I've dealt with it all :o

Michelle HAPP BIRTHDAY !!! Trust me it was hilarious watching him take the chair apart, one bits still together because it says 'once this part is assembled it can not be dismantled' well we tried our hardest and it wouldn't come apart. Doesn't fit in the box either, but they haven't been to collect it yet and we had another try this morning, not a chance that will come apart!

Pink Fairy, hope you enjoy your DSs birthday treat (unsure if it's hi birthday today but if it is happy birthday too :) )

Solway slow down will you please? Goodness you've finished the list and I've hardly even moved!

hev welcome back :) nice to see you back. Good luck!

Nicki, sounds like things are starting to go right for you at last :) maybe you overpaid by DD when your benefit entitlement was sorted it was double paid? Make sure you've cancelled the DD just incase.

Johanne I usually use hairspray to remove ink, most highlighters wash out easily....you should have a contact phone number for the tutor, if he doesn't respond to either contact your local centre, he's getting paid to do a job after all. We have our CD today. Just need to do the work now. Oh then I have another due in next week :( not started that yet either.

Actually on the subject on OU courses, you know I said I passed the last one, got the results from the final TMA yesterday, it says 'required to pass 40% your score 41%' HOW CLOSE IS THAT!!!!

Right going to do emails, online banking (wohoo carers allowance increase from today £50.55 not much of an increase but all helps!) freecycle emails, then make a start on the dreaded assignment
One day I might be more organised...........

Johanne Whenever I have any stain I use 'SHOUT' spray. It seems really good. You could try this.

Michelle HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! RELAX please! Your lists bring me out in a sweat!!!

Livingroom all changed about, OH hates it but i think it makes good use of the space.
Right i'm away for something to eat, catch ya later.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    I hate workmen!!!

The carpet fitter rang just before ten, saying that his other job this morning was a big one so would be here close to 12. Fine said i, bearing in mind the slot is between 9-12, so should be here before 12.

No sign of them yet, and i am supposed to be going out to meet my mate in about half an hour. Can't go if there is no carpet, or we won't be able to get in a bed tonight, and neither will DS.

Think i am going to have to ring the shop and get them to ring the fitter and work out what time he will get here, and i may have to forgo lunch out.
