**passes Johanne a cork** but I am sure if you do end up loosing your cork it'll be a darn good reason for it being late! Oh and you're doing better than me, I have one due in Wednesday (which incs a weeks extension) which I haven't started yet, fingers crossed the stuff arrives Monday!!!

Buffy welcome :D I too used to have those as pets (I know there are a few with phobias, speaking of rat lovers I wonder where Shirley is?) anyway, I think stating with little challenges will help. Maybe starting with something like 'find 3 boxes - 1 to keep, 1 to throw away and 1 'undecided' work through a pile from somewhere sorting them into the boxes' I did that when packing to move house (needed a SERIOUS declutter!!) and it helped loads.

Bins out, masses of recycling out, got very wet, DPs brother taken home (bet he has a headache tomorrow) DP now has to take the chair apart to be returned tomorrow that snapped, I remembered when he'd had 4 cans and 2 glasses of vodka (his measures) that they are collecting it between 7-1 tomorrow, they usually turn up closer to the 7, so I said it's do it tonight or get up early. Going to be funny watching him as he's had even more vodka since then.......

Right, !!!!!!, he's just brought the chair in from the conservatory and it's wet, that means we probably have a leak, suppose I best go sort it...**edit** looked at it, looks like where the snows been sitting melting is where it is leaking, ladder not high enough for me to reach, it's not bad enough for me to panic about it right now and he's not sober enough to deal with it so it can wait until the morning!!!
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning everyone, snow here and frost. Just left PIL off:j and my plan is to send the kids to homework club all off this week so that i will have a bit of peace clearing the house out.:j I've been really looking forward to this (how sad am i!) and hopefully be the end of the week i'll have a clean and de-cluttered house.

Right cuppa for me before i get the wee ones up.

    Morning folks.

Up at 5:30am with DH's alarm  (It's my birthday today and he was doing his usual - only bought the pressie yesterday so got to wrap it secretly this morning -long running tradition in our house.)

    I've been productive:
    • bed stripped and in WM
    • packed lunch made for DH
    • cuppa and milk made for us
    • breakie eaten
    • all dressed
    • some of the stuff taken out the room
    • birthday cards and pressies opened
    • cats fed
    • last night's washing up away
I am going to take DS to nursery around about 7:30, going in to work after briefly to get help with my stuff to the car, and DH will then have to go and sort through the rest of the stuff in the room and demolish the bed, all before 9am. Then pull up the carpet, and get it all out of the room (we are thinking by just throwing out of the landing window). I am hoping they are here early in the slot, as i know it will probably be fitted in about 20 minutes knowing the speed these guys work at.

Have a fab day one and all.

lil-me am laughing at the mental image of being drunk, taking apart a chair

buffy another teacher! What do you teach, and why oh why does this thread attract so many of us. Are we all slovenly?

No snow here although it feels quite chilly. I was a lazy mother this morning and didn't get up until 8. The oldest two have gone back to school and they were quite quiet getting ready. OH has just gone to work and youngest is now having her brekkie. First day of new diet today so no food for me now for the next 4 weeks then I will probably do an add a meal week.

Hope everyone has a great day.
