    Evening ladies!
May I say how lovely you're all looking tonight - and on a completely unrelated matter.........

......I have made Jamie Olivers meatballs (from mince that was frozen) with tomatoes, peas and psketti. The only problem is I appear to have a small mountain of it left!

My question to you - oh wise ones - is will it freeze??? (clueless here - I have no idea and don't wish to poison the ginger ones).

Thank you v much in advance!

BTW - hubby thought it most amusing that I was going to seek advice from my 'virtual friends'!!

Ginger Girl, if the mince has already been frozen, then it is NOT wise to re-freeze it unless you have cooked it.

Right, my DD's room currently looks like hell, and I've thrown a strop. She's insisting on tidying it (she's 4yrs) and her idea of tidying scares me. So, I've beaten a retreat to here for a few mins respite!

Let's have a look at today's and tomorrow's list instead. I was hoping it'd be the bathroom, but instead I guess I shall have to sort the dining room .

Mad Monday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
    Level One
[STRIKE]remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace
Open the windows and let in some fresh air[/STRIKE] - opened the front door when I cleaned it, does that count? I think so.
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wipe and water neglected plants [/STRIKE]- phew none in the Snug and aloes in the hall which I watered last week :)
    [STRIKE]Dust those flat fluffy surfaces[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Vacuum under the furniture you can move
    Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clear a hotspot
Vacuum hall and stairs.. all the way up to the top!!!![/STRIKE]!
    Extras
[STRIKE]Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs
Wipe front door.. inside and out!
    [/STRIKE]
    • Wash any nets/curtains that need cleaning.. put up fresh ones!
    • [STRIKE]Sort that corner full of shoes and coats and bags... I know you all put this off so get it sorted.. before the better weather hits!![/STRIKE]

Take EVERYTHING out of the cupboard under the sink give it a deep clean..
Extras[STRIKE]Clean oven/hob if you must.. *rolls eyes*
HHI .. with your clean iron!!
    [/STRIKE]
    • Clean windows and sills
    • [STRIKE]treat the pets for fleas!!! This is prime time for them to be developing an infestation.. the last thing you need in your house! (still not done mine.. bad me!)[/STRIKE]

    Evening all.

Lil-me - well done on your decision - I think it's one you really wanted to make...
    Michelle - happy birthday
Pigpen - don't know what to advise about the dressmaking thing - particularly as you're short of funds at the moment.

Right, I've done some flying this evening - in between dealing with ebay questions - I've had a lot on the maps I put up yesterday. And phone calls. But I can't be bothered to get the Dyson out now. Stir fry for dinner methinks

I'm going for a hot bubble bath & pamper session for as long as I can stand the cold upstairs in the bathroom, so I'll be back in about 2 minutes :rotfl::rotfl: Laters

Thanks Zed42! I have cooked it - just not sure how the psketti would turn out!

DDs finally go back to school tomorrow. I have located the missing PE shoes and discovered that they no longer fit in a Cinderellas ugly sister kind of way. Hopefully they won't make them go outdoors for PE whilst theres still snow.

Washing machine now on load 3 of the day. This time full of muddy school coats. Nothing like leaving these things to the very very very last minute.

    Hall, stairs and landing vacuumed
Surplus coats and shoes flung. Winter ones washed and in the wardrobe ready for next year.
Cleaned another cupboard in the kitchen, still avoiding the larder!
Nagged the DDs to do their homework ready for tomorrow.
    More books on freecycle.
I even cleaned out the black hole under the stairs. I can now get to the wine rack.

Off to read bedtime stories before uncorking a bottle of grape juice.

Getting together the enthusiasm to clean the oven.... I really really really hate doing it. Its a horrible job and the grill is part of the oven so the fat from the roast cakes the grill elements, gets really hot when you turn the grill on and ignites. Normally it also self extinguishes as I realise in time. I've only actually set it on fire once (so far) to the point I needed a fire extinguisher. Comes up lovely and clean though. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that, although it does take quite a long time to get the sooty marks off the ceiling.

my mind is going but i wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who gave me the websites for maths for dd. we've been doing five minutes a day for two weeks and today she woke up before school and asked if we could still do it. she got home and we sat together and after the five minutes (we set a timer) she begged to carry on. she says it's the best subject ever. i can't believe the difference it's made. thanks again.

i've so much of my list to do i've come on to check it and i'll do commercial break challenges to get it finished. needed to do loads today and ended up walking for 3 hours in total to get to places as i still can't drive. can't say i've missed not driving as i do tend to walk quite a bit anyway. guess it'll be a while before i can drive once the cast comes off anyway.

right, off to put ds to bed....i love school nights as they can go to bed early. hugs to all xx

Home with my Primark bargains (6 tops, pair of shoes, new overnight bag £33 Thank you very much.) Got my mate's belongings delivered back to him from his ex's Mums and he's going take me out for tea. Everybody's happy!
I'm shattered though. No more flying for me today - unless tomorrow's list is easy peasy!
