its a good tool it doesnt have my job, but then only the people on my team have the title so i never expect much, useful to see that i can save 5 pounds if i call myself a telecomunications advisor instead of customer assistant technically its my job and id never have thought of changing the title to change the cost.
I know the rules of punctuation and grammer I just choose to ignore them (or forget them half the time)... Apologies in advance

I'm coming back as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to save £14.20!

I was looking under hotel management as I remember years ago substituting that for administrator and it coming up a good deal cheaper. There was nothing listed for Hotels other than Hotel Consultant and thats where the above occupation came in the cheapest.

I can't enter "Legal Secretary" as my current job description, so just chose "secretary". I then chose legal/security sector and one of the options it came up with was ... Legal secretary...

I'm a Loss Adjuster- only option was Loss Assessor. Happily a Claims Adjustor knocks £50 a year off though, which is nice.

Thanks, good tool- I am a scientist in the nuclear field, but I normally just say Scientist when asked for insurance purposes. According to your tool, a nuclear scientist seems to be a safe bet- I would save myself £23. No other relevant job title (even Civil Servant which would be another option) is as cheap.
I found the following text confusing "Picking Scientist instead of Nuclear Scientist, for car insurance costing £400.00, may save you £23.20 just by changing your job title."
The lower priced job title should be listed first in that sentence...

    Is it really true?!

As an occupational therapist I pay more than if I called myself a council worker or civil servant. It is amazing how a play on words makes a difference. Think I need to become a museum attendant to save £60! Great tool, I've enjoyed playing around with it.
Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:

Just checked my partner's he is a mechanical design engineer, a design engineer pays £14 more than a mechanical engineer, hmmm!

Just wondering if the insurance companies ever check people's occupations if there is a claim? Will they not pay out if I call myself a project manager rather than a health care worker?
Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:
