Note to all, voip doesn't work too well over dial up (ADSL is really required) but if you are on dial up the sipgate number can be used to contact you whilst your landline is busy.

So I just told a mate about this voipbuster software, Hes downloaded it but asked an interesting question, how does he register it for outgoing calls?

I cant remember giving voipbuster my email address so how did I get an email
when I got some credit they sent a validation email, how queer.

It may possibly say login in failed on your VoIP Buster account, as you are trying to login to that account on both X-Lite and VoIP Buster at the same time, shutdown VoIP Buster soft-phone when using X-Lite for VoIP Buster.

Has anyone had problems with their X-Lite not ringing when someone is calling?

The only time X-Lite didn't ring when someone was calling, and in answer also to a previous question about the engaged type sound heard was due port settings.

Simply go to "my account" after registering, and uploade 1 Euro through either paypal, neteller or credit card etc.

Once done, he can start calling landlines for free..

After initially reigstering he can call any landline for free for up to 1 minute Then it cuts off unless he's uploaded the 1 euro. Enjoy

Er I am a complete dork I remember now and told me mate as its all
starting to come back to me now, duh where do they get my email from
(a 3yr olds question) mind you some 3yr olds are quite smart/er,(than me).
