Would this work?
Buy:
Roc moisturiser - £10.99
Roc eye cream - £11.99
Olay FF Total Effects hand cream - £6.49
And (handing over last so it's not the cheapest on 3 4 2) Olay toner
Roc total is £23 - £5 coupon = £18
Olay total - £5 off olay and free toner = £1.49
Till takes off £6.49 because hand cream was cheapest in 3 4 2
So I pay £13 for four items AND get the ROC gwp bag.
OR I could get face wipes instead of the eye cream, thus knocking £5 off the price for a total of £8 to pay.
(and please note, I want to make the minimum Roc purchase in order to get the GWP -- the question is, if the Roc total comes to less than £15 after I use coupons, will I still have bought enough for the gwp? also, someone said at her store the minimum was £20, so I may have to adjust my buy based on my store. -- wait, just realized, I'd hand the coupon over *after* they scan the gwp, so it should work.)0 -
So on that note .... and trying to keep Boots related, I shall get my coat!!
Now get back here and keep posting
The only reason I'm going is because I've got a headache, and I broke my AC(lol - I'm such a div) so I've no knowledge of what's on offer and therefore nothing to add to the thread. But don't stay away. There'll no doubt be a new thread soon that we can all contribute towards

I believe till would take olat toner off as cheapest in 3 for 2, makes no difference the order in which the products are scanned0 -
I have PMed Andrea so once she gets back to me i will update you all.
Can we just be cautious for now until i find out what its all about.
Thanks.
Edited - I will start a new thread tomorrow once everyone has finished discussing the post.

I'm pretty sure (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that it doesn't matter what order you hand your items over..... the till automatically works out which is the cheapest item in the 3 for 2 and takes it off, so it would be the toner that would be free, not the hand cream. You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Does anyone know what the purchase requirement is to get the Roc GWP? I just went to Boots and there was no sign about the minimum purchase, and nothing listed on the bag itself. I bought a pack of £5.99 Roc face wipes as part of my 3 for 2 (the others being Olay), and I took a gwp bag, too. I figured £5.99 was too low, but since no price was listed, maybe. The bag beeped at the till and the cashier didn't know what the minimum purchase was, either, so I left it. I might go back and get more Roc (using my £5 off coupon!) if the minimum purchase isn't too bad. I also have one more set of Olay coupons that I could use in conjunction.
hey Skibs, are you in Reading as well? 3 packs of facial wipes, and the GWP doesnt go thru. my total spent was £6.98...0 -

Yes, I'm in Reading, thought I was the only local Bootser! Hello!
Did it beep and they didn't let you have it, or did it beep and they overrode it and gave you the gwp? I think that possibly the till hasn't been programmed with the bags yet, and it will beep no matter how much Roc you buy. Which means, I think, I best find the Roc assistant before I go to the till and ask her what the minimum is so that I'm sure and then she can come tell the SA if need be. And I'll make sure my purchase is such that the Roc total is £15 (or however much) after the free item is taken off (but before I hand over the £5 off voucher!).
Isn't it nuts to offer a gwp and not say anywhere what you need to buy to get the gwp?!0 -

As a girly with red hair and see-through skin I utterly agree!
But, Tesco had some factor 40 Five star rated stuff in for 82p! In a spray version, thought I might as well point it out just incase you can venture away from your AC's for a few moments0 -
