Did you see the great offer for Elizebeth Arden Massive sets £22.90 worth £250 on the first page? Dont know how to do a link, but I am sure some kind sole will. Just spotted it by chance this morning when I was checking out this site. Ordered mine, delivery in two days. To keep it Boots related Walsall has loads of mags, so if anyone needs coupons from them let me know.

So if they are monitoring these threads so closely, then they will stop the GWP going through free then... if they wanted to.

I tend to think that Boots know that the majority of posters possess a modicum of common sense, and it's those people that they rely on.

Not the posters that put multiple gwp's through the tills, manned or otherwise, with no purchase.

I wouldn't put a gwp in my basket without the relevant purchase. The wording's quite clear, Gift With Purchase.

This whole area is an area that has made some posters feel so uncomfortable, that they've given up posting. But it's also an area that should be made clearer.

For the younger and more vulnerable posters.

I agree but the till should recognise if the correct products have been scanned to allow the GWP to be free, if it doesn't then its not the customers fault, what if a little old lady with bad eyes fancied the gift alone, is she wrong? I'm sure we could argue this morally or whatever for pages, but i know that its the stores that can fix this...like i said...if they wanted to.

It's better to argue it out now that this thread will soon be coming to a close.

It's up to Boots to decide whether the little old lady is at fault or not rippedoff3, but it's also our responsibility to make sure that people reading these threads are made aware of the rights and wrongs of how a GWP is obtained, don't you think?

Does anyone know what the purchase requirement is to get the Roc GWP? I just went to Boots and there was no sign about the minimum purchase, and nothing listed on the bag itself.

I got one of these GWPs a month or so ago and IIRC, the minimum spend was £15.00.

    HTH :)

I have only been a member on these boards since the New Year and the Boots threads I thought were fab; very friendly, helpful etc.
I have felt increasingly uneasy of late, I guess the last month or so with people sharing on these threads how they have managed to get this and that and really boasting when in most cases they havent even "bought" the items needed to acquire the said GWP.
I shall probably be shot down in flames but that is OK as I am finding I am staying away from the thread becuase it is no longer "nice" in the main.
Such a shame as it was a great place to come to.
So on that note .... and trying to keep Boots related, I shall get my coat!! :o
