Surely the post on page 1 encourages people to try the GWP's for free????

"The old MF xmas 07 gift, a Black hexagonal Lola Rose box goes through the til free with no MF purchse as does the Pink box gwp from Feb. For pics of these click the link on THIS post. Last summers MF gifts Yellow/black and pink/black bag gift sets are going though free too. As are a set of MF brushes in a rectangular box with a red bow."

So maybe that ought to be changed to keep within th T&C's as well.
Again some people post things like this all the time and get congratulated on it! and others get shot down for it!

With regards to the various GWP's going through tills free, without actually buying the necessary items. I really do not feel as though we are doing anything wrong. We are not stealing the items, the SA's put it through the till point and is the stores mistake if they are going at zero and not being queried. Most people would be up for a bit of 'owt for nowt' given the chance and of course legally. We are not walking into stores and putting them sneakily into our bags :eek: .

Exactly how I feel too! Well said. But I got critised a bit (my own fault I know as I posted too much detail) when I said I have got 2! And then the post on page one encourages it! Hmm we need to either accept these are ok or not. Personally I think they are ok as they DO go through the till and DO show on the receipt so it is NOT stealing! Maybe the post shouldnt go into detail about how they got the GWP Free but just say got MF GWPF! for example and everyone will understand what it means without encouraging people to try different ways of getting them. This way everyone is responsible for their own actions onhow they got them.

Phew! Rant over...

to be honest though i did sneak one in at the bottom of my basket and felt like a criminal even though i bought an eyebrow pencil to disguise my "gift"lol

I can see things going behind closed doors (e.g. PMs) re: gwp etc etc .... people are going to be too afraid to post their finds/glitches/voucher combinations soon for fear of reprisals/being made to feel like a criminal!

Gwp's are merely a bonus item for those that buy the products they relate to. Of course, there are those of us (me included !) that will happily pick up a gwp if they are going through the tills for £0.00. They have no re-sale value really (well I don't think so) due to the sample-type products in them and I think if Mr Boots didn't want us all going in there spending our hard earned cash to get the gwp's then he would simply remove them from the shelves. Majority of the time there have been no signs up displaying what we are supposed to buy to get the gwp (well i've not noticed any) so how can anyone be aware of the 'criteria' for getting them??!!

I just hope this thread doesn't disappear and go into 'hiding' !

I hope so too - we all help each other on here regarding offers we will use and some we won't. We obviously all want to save money one way or another or wouldn't have ventured here in the first place. GWP that are left over are apparantly being sold off for as little as £1 in some stores. We have spent more than that whilst in Boots looking for glitches or getting the GWP. At the end of the day, Mr Boots is not daft and as mentioned before. probably reads these forums anyway (if the med glitch was anything to go by - rectified quickly).

Let's all continue to tell each other our shopping lists and bargains.
