I used to love cheese and marmite crisps sarnies when I was pregnant, although this doesnt actually sound odd even now lol.

Then (when still pregnant) we could go to baked beans on toast covered in mayo and vinegar:eek:

slice of white bread, slices of banana on top, sprinkled with sugar, brown if in the cupboard - grilled until the sugar bubbles - gorgeous!

That sounds yum! I might try that.

I usually have sliced bananas and peanut butter on toast and maybe a sprinkling of grated cheddar. Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning breakfast.:D

Sometimes I just butter it and eat it while I wait for the main event to finish frying. So impatient!

    ...

    chips and cheese

With you on both of these. A few chip shops round here do chips & cheese cobs. Haven't had one for years...maybe treat myself now you've reminded me.

    Also:

Meat and chips - chips topped with kebab meat and then doused in chilli sauce. Horrendous really, but tastes really good after a few beers, honest!

One that's cheaper than spaghetti and cheese maybe is spaghetti and tinned tomatoes, add some black pepper and yumm! Or on toast/with bread.

Cheese and biscuit sandwiches (grated cheese and chocolate digestives being the best)

Chicken flavour crisps dipped in cream of veg or cream of chicken cuppa soup.
One day I might be more organised...........

never thought of that, my son's gonna be really !!!!!!-off when he's got no crispy 'holes' on his next time :D

sorta on a chips & meat theme .... well sorta ... fish, chips, scraps & gravy, mmmmm heaven
we don't get scraps & gravy up here in Scotland, so when I found chippies who did it when I lived in Bridlington in the '70's at first I thought YUK!!! then I tried it, now a convert
