    Make the rice first.

Whisk up some eggs (I just use 1 for myself). Chuck in a hot pan and mix around so it breaks up like scrambled egg bits. Put the rice in and fry with soy sauce. I like to put lots of soy sauce in. A splash of sesame oil is quite nice as well.
    lovely :)

I spent years adding the egg to the already hot fried rice, which was ok-ish  before it dawned on me to scramble the flavoured egg first, sooo much nicer that way :T

Handful of macaroni boiled and served with made up Knorr cheese sauce granules. Cost about 15p per serving.

Also 8p (although they seem to be 9p or 10p now) noodles in a sandwich :o .
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

 :rotfl: Don't they all fall out? :rotfl:

I want to know how you discovered that? :rotfl:
  • Some of these sound lovely!! My favourites are pickled onion sandwiches (on thick bread with proper butter) and boiled spaghetti mixed with dairylea type cheese spread and tomato ketchup. No-one else I know will eat either of these thing!

Oh yes another one - white bread, toasted on one side, spread on untoasted side with marg or butter, sugar and cinnamon and grilled. Only problem is I can eat about 10 slices at one go and then I feel sick and can't fancy it again for about a year!

Banana and honey sandwiches, also nice in the toastie machine.

    Tinned mackerel (cold) on toast

    Beans straight from the tin

Fishfinger sarnies made with tartare and bbq sauce, it's not the same if we have no bbq sauce!

Baked beans from the tin - I can't do this - though I can eat them cold if I KNOW they've been heated once  :rotfl:

Well the noodles alone weren't filling enough, so I cut some bread to have with them, then started putting a forkful of noodles on the bread, and eventually the penny dropped that I could make a sarnie. You have to press the top slice of bread down quite firmly, so it all sticks together :o .
