I like salad cream sandwiches but with banana or KP Skips crisps.
Worse still I love peanut butter and banana mashed together and spread on toast. Although it does remind me of baby poo!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
urgh thats disguisting peanut butter is yuck do you have the banana in with the salad cream as i carnt see that going together or the crisps for that matter,,,We Make A Living By What We Get. We Make A LIFE By What We GIVE:money:

OOh yes salad cream sarnies! Thick white fresh bread with loads. Crisps go very well in a sarnie with SC too!
I'll give the SC a miss when I have a banana sarnie though!0 -
I had a mayonnaise wrap yesterday. My housemates looked on in disgust0

When i was a kid i used to make my mom do me branston pickle sandwiches to take to school
needless to say she wasn't impressed because she was a dinner lady at my school and didn't want people thinking that's what she fed us!Sometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
I regret that I cannot grace any of the above suggestions (even though I do love salad cream!) with the epithet of "meal".
For a simplicity and cheapness in a real meal, I challenge anyone to beat 100g of boiled spaghetti, tossed with some grated cheese. You can even factor in the cost of the 1/4 teaspoon of salt in the pasta water. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
some good ones there i cannot imagine eatingsalad cream and crisp sanwhiches alothough i eat em both seperatly i certainly couldnt stomach them together...
my daughter loves to jsut eat gerkins out of the jar which i think is disguisting and quite suprising as shes a real fussy eater lolWe Make A Living By What We Get. We Make A LIFE By What We GIVE:money:

Jam Sandwiches for me!!!
DS is a very fussy eater and won't touch them (even though he will eat jam tarts) and my boss thinks I'm poor if I have them for lunch at work!
My ex-OH used to eat cheese, beetroot and salad cream sandwiches, and his mum used to eat fried egg and jam sandwiches  .

salad cream sandwich, mmmmmmm, has to have real butter though, salted
crisp sandwiches too, ditto the real salty butter
tomatoes on toast
egg noodles with soy sauce, hoisin sauce & sesame oil
pasta with Cardini's Caesar dressing & capers
mashed sardines/pilchards on toast with beetroot on top
pasta with olive oil, chilli & garlic
I already have all the sauces, oils & pickles etc in my storecupboard, so it costs next to nothing over the price of the pasta/bread
EDIT ... my oldest son used to eat mustard sandwiches, by choice0
