my oldest son used to eat mustard sandwiches, by choice
That sounds familiar - as a student I used to do this, but I'd eat it as an open sandwich to make it last longer
As a student, sandwiches often were meals, and I have fond memories of my favourite sandwich at the time...sardine and tomato paste with Dairylea (or rather supermarket equivalent) Actually, think I might try it again sometimeDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

Ha. No not at all. Just an evening snack. A nice big tortilla and loads of mayo. On monday I grilled the tortillas first so it was a bit of a nicer snack!
I love Findus crispy pancake sandwiches too. Yuuuum. Cheese and ham flavour.0 -

Fantastic question - and so many yummy answers
My faves are:
Beetroot, cheese and salad cream sarnies
Sugar sandwich
Condensed milk - must be on white bread
Bread sauce sandwich - always save some from Sunday lunch
Fish finger and tomato ketch in a round roll
Honey and cheese - for an extra touch of refinement make sure the knife's got a tinge of marmite on
Peanut butter and bacon - if you're feeling flash add a chopped apple - on toast
And for those decadent moments ciabatta spread with hard butter and sandwiched with dark chocolate.
Needless to say Wizard Wilf is a touch sniffy about most of these :rotfl:
