:(
On the plus, it may give you a quicker sale to get the house you want.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

The second has little kerb appeal and the third just looks tired. All have good gardens.
Down to choice and price, SDW. Good luck.
We're not looking at the third one now. We went past it this morning and looked closely and it is really scruffy and the road is busier than we thought.
The second one is by far our second choice and in fact is an ex council house; however it is in a prominent position on a corner and has private houses immediately next to it,. It's not in the middle of an estate. Its location is good, in a popular village just over the border in Staffordshire, but only a couple of miles from where we live now.
But we too like the 'conservatory ' house, we have just driven past and looked at it again for the umpteenth time. It is a charming house from the outside and has character and although on an estate is s on the edge of it, so again it does not feel like an estate.
We are visiting both of them on Saturday, the second choice in the morning and the first choice in the afternoon.
I'll let you all know the outcome.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Don't totally discount a bungalow, though.
We bought this one 28 years ago and it's far from small, three double bedrooms, separate dining room and a lovely big hall.
We wanted to live in this town, for the school, and there were not that many properties for sale. I hate the word 'bungalow' and its connotations, but we are growing in to it.
It's a bit big for just the two fir us, but in walking distance of everything we might need, we can stay put.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

We haven't discounted a bungalow, it's just that those that are big enough, in the areas we want, are too expensive.
Yours sounds great and we certainly wouldn't discount one like that if we could find one within budget!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

We viewed the second house on Saturday morning, it is very pokey so we have discounted it.
The 'conservatory' house, our favourite, has been taken off the market
We may arrange to see this one http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-21264252.html , it sounds good because of the large room in the roof and the workshop, plenty of space for my husband's art and music. We also like the fact that it has a downstairs shower room as well as an upstairs bathroom. Slightly out of our comfort zone location-wise, but a decent enough area. We'll have a drive-by later to see exactly where it is and if we like the look of it arrange a viewing tomorrow.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

It looks quite good, apart from those odd stairs in the second picture.
Shame about the conservatory one, though.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

The stairs look a bit 'diy' - very small gap between the bottom step and the wall facing, and there's no handrail, you might need to check out building regs sign off. They wouldn't do for me, because I can easily imagine skidding off the bottom step and redesigning my face on the wall;)
Enjoy your house huting:).....................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

We are not going to view it,having driven past tonight we don't like its specific location although the general area is fine.
Nothing else on the list, although we did see a really nice one in a good location on our drive-by but when we looked it up on Rightmove, it's £30k over our budget.::)
The estate agent who came yesterday to value our house said it was gorgeous and she didn't know why we wanted to move. Perhaps we shouldn't. We certainly won't leave it for any old place.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

We have seen a bungalow in the same road (in fact about three doors away) from the 'conservatory' house we liked which was taken off the market.
We have viewed it today. It needs quite a bit doing to it, but we don't mind a do-er upper . It has plenty of outside space which we wanted and fits our brief other than the third bedroom. Best of all it is £25k under budget and as it belonged to an old lady who died, there is no chain and no need for the inheritor to get the top price....
Seriously thinking of offering on it. We are having a second viewing on Tuesday.
(Can't post a link because it is not on Rightmove yet as it has only been for sale for a week).(AKA HRH_MUngo)
