No exciting holidays for us this year, but we are going to Pembrokeshire with some cousins and are hoping to go to our friends' Retreat in Cornwall.
I must admit, China is a place I have absolutely no desire to visit. Would like to go to the States though, New York in particular.
Have a great time!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Well we ski er'd in a big way sold up and move to north cyprus and are in our third week.
its brilliant.
Me 59 and OH 49 ( yes I am lucky ;-) ) living of investment income until OH pension kicks in at 55. We shouldn't have to actually touch our money but if it all goes a bit wrong with the economy we will eat a little known the savings but that's fine too.
Kids are a little put out but hey it's ours and we worked for it lol
Loved this thread as it shows the dreams turning into reality for so many and gives so many others something to think about etc.
Life it too short xxxLiving the dream and retired in Cyprus :j

It's not THAT exciting, but we're off tomorrow, early, to Fuerteventura, making up for the last holiday there where we had gastroenteritis. Spent almost nothing!!!
Followed by Easter Weekend in Wigan! One of my colleagues is going to Bucharest, I'll be off to Wigan. :rotfl:
Also spending my late mother's money. We kept trying to persuade her to spend it herself, but she resented every penny of 'unnecessary' expenditure.
Better go and pack ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Hi Folks
We are out in Spain again, to escape the snow. Having a change this year and not planning on returning until October from end March. Hoping to do more with the touring caravan, but if we have a bad summer then we may change our plans!
Take care DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club

You'll be OK seven, she meant the pregnancies were in the 1970s not when she was in her 70s:rotfl:The only thing that is constant is change.0 -
