We are out in Spain at the moment, returning on Wednesday, getting back to London on Friday, Hen Night for future DIL on Saturday, and DH going out with son & his future FIL. Wedding in April, some caravanning to near Lincoln in March, and later in April, then back here early May, until late June, then caravanning again in early July adjacent to the Yorkshire elemeent of the Tour de France. No time to plan :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Certainly Ski-ing well, but son having some of it early.:D

Well this thread has gone quiet I hope you are all doing what the title suggests.

I have 15 sleeps then I am away for 6-8 weeks (no return ticket purchased yet).

We have a little place [text removed by MSE Forum Team] and I am going for some peace and solitude.

Yes, Switzerland in June. Before that, we're going to Tamworth on Saturday 24th May. It's celebrating a little-known and long-forgotten part of our history, AEthelflaed Lady of the Mercians, granddaughter of King Alfred and aunt of King AEthelstan. Without the efforts of those three people we'd have grown up speaking Danish. Tamworth was her capital and there's a statue to her and her famous nephew.

We're having a special 'Anglo-Saxon' dinner in the evening and it's lovely to meet up with people who are on the same wavelength.

Oh yes, I'm all for that!! They're currently far more than I right now so can afford to invest in a decent retirement. I'm currently spending my savings faster than I can earn it

Off to Crete for two weeks all-inclusive on 13th May. Going back to the same 4* hotel we stayed in last year, which is situated right on the beach IYKWIM.
So that should take care of about another £1.5k. :j :j

I may be gone longer. Oh eldest has just split from long term boyfriend and moving out..... She hasn't actually asked yet about moving home or storing her stuff!!!!!
