Yes, I am quite excited about it. Got a bonus at work I wasn't expecting, so will get it at end of month.......can't wait. :jIn the middle of difficulty lies oppurtunity0 -

The rolls came out fine by the way - about 90 mins to make the dough in the machine, then I took it out and cut it into pieces, let it rise for 30mins then baked for about 20mins in a 180 deg oven - yum yum! lunch was warm rolls with butter...
Yum........can't wait to make my own!:)In the middle of difficulty lies oppurtunity0 -
I like the window a lot
& it's even got a light you can switch on & off, more fun :rotfl:
WOW! I will be like a kid when I get it! I love stuff like that. will try and get the kids to go bramble picking too and check out the jam making option! Really looking forward to it. :jIn the middle of difficulty lies oppurtunity0 -

I'm actually replying to your post over on the Panasonic thread, but don't want to get my knuckles rapped for hijacking it for our Kenwood purposes
for a bit of variety you can use Panny recipes in the Kenwood, but remember to put the ingredients in in the order Kenwood recommend ... Panasonic recipes
Carrs a flour manufacturer's site with some really interesting recipesincluding Wholemeal for various different machines (not the latest models though) which shows how different machines like different proportions of ingredients
& here's a nice seeded loaf recipe that I like better than any in the manuals
PoshPaws' Seeded Bread (adaptation)
1/2 pint water
8oz malty flour of your choice
8oz strong plain flour
1 Tablespoon oil
3 Tablespoons rolled oats
1 + 1/2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
1 + 1/4 teaspoons yeast
1 Tablespoon of seeds of your choice (or more, I sometimes use 6 or 7)
I've tried this on a seeded setting, medium loaf size, in a Morphy richards, a Panny & a Kenwood & it's worked well in them all, thanks PoshPaws :T
have you used any of the personalised programmes yet?
the only bread I miss from the Panny is the Italian bake, I'd like to programme my Kenwood to do it, but I suspect that'll involve sitting beside a Panny for 3 & a half hours noting down what it's doing & for how long!0 -

You are wonderful, thank you. Sorry, I am a novice at this posting lark and I am not fully aquainted with the posting rules yet, but will keep what you said in mind from now on.
I have done the rapid baketwice and one egg enriched loaf 1kg so far. I am amazed by the results, fab! Still getting to know the machine so not used the personalised settings yet ( abit nervous of that yet).
Thank you for the recipe. I will let you know how I get on! And also the links. :AYou are a mine of useful info:T:T:T:TIn the middle of difficulty lies oppurtunity0 -

a lot of the tips & tricks & queries are interchangeable between the two machines, I think we need the title of the Panny thread changing to include the Kenwood now
I've only used the personalised setting once so far & that was when I accidentally switched off in the middle of a programme, so I reprogrammed it to start from where it left off, but I can't remember how I did now though
it's a great machine, I love mine
let me know how the jam making goes, I've not tried that0
