  • well i got one, looks really nice. will get ingredients tomorrow and get started. really exciting. if anyone has any tips i would be grateful for them.
  • I just looked at the prices on amazon of the Panasonic and the Kenwood BM450 - the Kenwood was only £29.99! Is that it's normal price, because it has alot of the same features as the Panasonic and also has an automatic nut/seeds etc dispenser. Does anyone know if this is one of those Amazon bargains that you sometimes see or is it the normal price?

Just came back to add - I did a price comarison online and the BM450 is £129.99 in John Lewis and £124 on electricshopping.com - do I did a double check that the one on Amazon is definitely the same one and it is so I ordered one! Bargain!

  • Amazon have removed the Kenwood BM450 from the website now! They only have the BM250 and that's £50 - so I don't know if I will get my bargain after all. I have had the confirmation e-mail and it states the price of £29.99 but I don't think the contract is complete until you get the despatch e-mail so....

  • I have a dilemma - i have £50 of M&S vouchers and £50 of Comet vouchers.......M&S have their own brand breadmaker, and Comet have got the Breville BR9 ........any ideas which is better? I'm leaning towards the breville although after a quick search on MSE I can't find any info? and before anyone says, I can't afford the panasonic, the amount of bread i eat it wouldn't start paying for itself until years to come lol!

Do either M&S and Comet supply the Panasonic? I personally would put the extra money toward the vouchers and do this. With breadmakers you really do get what you pay for.

Hi JennyW, comet do the SD255 for £97.89, and the SD254 WXC for £78.29.

just seems a scary amount of money to spend on something I WANT rather than something i NEED! hmmmm.....lots of thinking to do on this one I think...got to spend £112 on new tyres so may have to wait until next month then think a bit more ! Lol!
