Slowlyfading - hope you are alright, that was the last thing you needed in the final run-up to an exam. Try to relax and get a good night's sleep and I wish you every success tomorrow!
Thanks, I went to bed at 9:30PM :rotfl:so I've had a good night's sleep. Just wish i wasn't so nervous now!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I think the cleaner is a great idea Marru. It may seem like an extravagance to some but I have been having exactly the same thoughts - my hourly rate means my energy is more cost-effectively spent earning and then paying for a cleaner. Psychologically it would make a massive difference too so I say, fab idea and let me know if you find anyone good lol! Mollymop, you sure you don't fancy a move to the West Country, you'd have 2 clients already!

SophiesMum, I can hear your excitement in your post! Hope you have a fantastic time in Malta, do pop in if you get a chance.
And here's my news -

This is because I am likely to move within the next month, and no longer have transportation available to me now, so will have to use a removal firm:mad:. Also I have just bought on my CC some removal boxes.
My question is, do I add the Removal expenses into this challenge, or keep them separate, since they are being done on CC not cash, which is how the rest of my £4k is being done, with actual cash and the occasional dip into the O/D.
I wouldn't add the removal costs to this challenge either. We're not counting rent, mortgage, or council tax, so I reckon you can get away with not counting removals as it's a neccessary expense if you want to keep a roof over your head
If I buy a house this year I won't count solicitors fees or mortgage setup fees etc, if I did my chances of success would be exactly zero!!
aaaaand, good luck slowlyfading
and have a great hol sophiesmum
and keep at it mumzy
and, err, anyone else I missed?
