Nyk... the jaffa story had me in tears (again...lol) unable to talk... I had to read it out to the rest of my office as i was crying and shaking with laughter so much they insisted I share - i couldn't speak by the time it got to cutting your jaffa cake up... your escapades had them in tears too :D :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :T :T

Feeling better now after my virtual hugs, thank you all.

Have managed to get a letter drafted and will send that off soon.

One thing I have really learnt from all this is to check payslips carefully. Even going thro my main issue, I found two other things wrong.

*Hangs my head in total shame* I only ever glanced at my payslips to check they 'looked right'. In fact, I only really checked that some money had gone in to my bank account.

*Falls over in shock at her own incompetence*

Whitewing, you're not alone, I was exactly the same (sometimes I didn't even open them :o).

Back on the bingo mission now, about to grab a bit of lunch and then find a suitable spot in the garden :D Any luck peeps?

Sending virtual (((hug))) to Whitewing - hope all went/goes well at your meeting and you get things sorted out. Nothing is ever as straightforward as it should be and some things are just a complete pain. Look beyond that and see quantities of plump, juicy homegrown fruit and veg, fresh baked bread and checking the interest payments transferred from your ISA accounts to you spending accounts before collecting the eggs from the hen house and making breakfast for the happy, smiling family... aaaaaaaaah, it may be far-fetched but it is not impossible :)

Taka, please apologise profusely to your work colleagues for the temporary breakdown of your sanity with reference to the episode of spontaneous, contagious, jaffacakitis. :D

Mollymop - hope to see you in the Stables this evening, we cannot promise to behave and I recommend you bring tissues to mop the tears of hysterical laughter at some of the absolute nonsense that goes on there when sanity departs around 10pm ish :rotfl:

Have been to see the house but, alas, it wasn't what I was expecting, so I guess I can wipe that thought from my mind. No sea views, some major renovation work needed and half a derelict cottage in the back yard. Still, it's an absolute steal at £105k if anyone wants to refurbish a 5 bedroom house with a garden big enough for a hen house and veggie plot.

I am having absolutely no luck with the free bingo so far, so I'm going outside to finish digging over the veggie plot and fill some of my pots with soil. Last week's seeds have begun to sprout and my carrot seeds have started to get tiny 'real' leaves! The onion seedlings are about 10cm high now - when do I transplant them outside? Have search but can't see anything about this. They are currently on a south-facing windowsill beside the carrots, salad leaves and tomatoes (it's a wide windowsill; the walls on this house are almost 3 feet thick.)

Toodle-pip people, off to get topped up with sunburn until next claimtime for free bingo tickets :rotfl:

hugs to everyone who needs them today, particularly whitewing.

I'm here frugalling away in the library - my telephone line has died *rolls eyes* and all this bingo lark is driving me daft! I can't even sign up as I'm on dial up and it all takes so long aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Oh well, maybe it's for the best

Just popped in to say hello and keep up with you all - turn my back and I'm three pages behind, and at 32kbps that's a lot of tea I have to brew just to wait for the pages to load! Teehee!

See you all later, if you're not all stuck in Bingoland. Best of luck everyone.
