If you have the confirmation email you could phone up and change the reservation to your name as the Hoxton now has this service then there would be no come back and JOHNISWORRIED would be really worried.0

I wonder if he volounteered the information on you swapping as that would definately get you refused.heavenlygee wrote: »Thanks, but it was a reservation for 28th September, so it's gone now.
I checked my emails this morning and got a rather fruity one from "him" saying.....well here it is
They didn't let me in - as you well know, they won't allow anyone other than the named person on the reservation/card into the hotel.
I ened up sleeping on a friends couch.
Please refund immediately.

I booked a room at £29 for Sunday the 19th of October that I can no longer use. If anyone wants to take it off my hands for what I've paid, please send me a pm.Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

On the topic of swapping rooms, I posted once about a travelodge booking I couldn't use. Anyway, someone pointed out to me that if any damage was done to the room I'd have to pick it up, as they had my credit card details, and that really put me off giving it away to someone i didn't actually know. Do you think that is true?0
