I casually booked my room, I was talking on the phone whilst I did it, the website worked fine and I booked for a £1 without really rushing, surprised by all the trouble reported on this forum! The whole process took me 5 minutes exactly. Perhaps because I just needed 1 night midweek.

Some Wednesday night in July when I'm due to be there, can you give these rooms away to anyone or does the person checking in have to have ID matching the visa I used?

Kept on refreshing the page and changing the date and ended up with the 14th of july for a quid so we are both well happy. Now all we need to do is, to work out what show or event we can go and see. Any suggestions please?

I always post the link when this offer comes up plus another tip about using Roboform.

The secret with the Hoxton sale is a bit of forward planning.

So for those of you that missed out this time. keep the HTML Link safe somewhere and look at Roboform

    Bettr luck next time

    BTW
    I missed out Again

blindman. Thanks for the html link and sorry you didn't get a room after all your help to others.

I saw that there's another £1 sale in July so better luck next time.

    It's no problem.

I did get one in Dec 2007 and enjoyed the stay.

I've been to London umpteen times so have covered the majority of the sights and my credit card can't take the bashing Mrs blindman gives it when we go

I also have other ways of MSE leisure breaks. :D

    BTW
I ddi not discover the HTML link originally, just did a bit of research and found it from a previous post.
Sorry, you missed out again. I got is so quickly this time. I had done a test run so it said welcome Ms ******* at the top and had my dates in the html page so all i had to do was press enter at 12 on the dot . Did you do that too?
I would let you have my £1 room but my family may kill me as they love the Hoxton. Thanks for link. Fingers crossed for you next time.

I dd that then can't beleive I was so stupid, did not scroll down the page and see the £1 rates, kept going backwards and forwards, when I spotted my mistake i'd missed it.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
  • Hi, I tried to get on to the site yesterday for these £1 hotel rooms but was not able to find it. Can you let me know how to find it ready for next time! Thanks

I for one would not have got a room without blindman. It would be great if anyone who had a £1 room and couldn't use it PM'd him to gave him first option. I'm sure Mrs Blindman deserves a treat! You could always give her one of those pre-loaded credit cards like they had on offer in the Sun so she can't go too crazy :rotfl: Thanks again - even if it wasn't you that posted first.

What a shame, Blindman - after all the help you've given to everyone else - and with all those moaning they've got the wrong day, can they pass it on to someone else etc. Never satisfied, some! I couldn't try this time because I was away from my computer - have tried in the past, without success!

Let's hope we both get lucky in July!

    best wishes
