They called me today as well, i just let her waffle on, and then told her i never buy anything over the phone, and put the phone down!!

so glad i read this had a call today, luckily my boyfriend called while the man was on the phone so i put him on hold, and kept my boyfriend talking till i knew the man had put the phone down. No doubt they will phone me back at least im prepared for them now :mad:

I got a call from them today as well - when I told the guy on the phone that I never sign up for anything - he said "whatever" and hung up on me!! I will avoid their competitions all the time - whatever!

Thanks to you lot, I had the call today & didnt even let her continue after she said where she was from, told her I was not interested & I hung up!
Suppose they'll try again!!! Lets hope they do, I could do with letting off a bit of steam!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call too! I don't even have kids so really wouldn't have entered a childs maths tuition competition and when I told her that she hung up! :rotfl:Here's hoping they don't ring again!

I got a call and couldn't remember entering.... the woman was gabbling very very fast but I did hear £3.50 a month sub for a magazine and could they have my card number for a £9 deposit!!! AND they didn't know my email address!!!doh!! I don't think so!

I don't think they will send stuff through the post. I don't know if it still applies, but there was/is a rule, that if you get stuff through the post, that you didn't order, you can keep it after 6 months if the sender doesn't arrange for it's return.
