Have just rung up Applause store, and they say for tomorrow you "should" have received notification by now if your tickets are cancelled.

No email = tickets valid !

You are exclusively invited you to Sky1's brand new entertainment extravaganza Guinness World Records Smashed!

This fast-paced, action packed show, will feature amazing record attempts, celebrity guests and death-defying stunts, plus embraces the idea that anyone can break a Guinness World Records™ record. In fact, even YOU, the studio audience will be having a go!
Hosts Konnie Huq and Steve Jones will be inviting certain members of the audience to try their hands at smashing records live in the studio! From the most donuts eaten in 1 minute, to the most amount of snails that you can put on your face, there are plenty of records out there that are smashable and we want to hear what records you’d most like to break. You never know it could be you that’s in the next Guinness World Records™ book!
As well as individual attempts, everyone in the studio, including the studio audience, will attempt to break a mass record. So if you’re in the audience, you will be taking part in at least one record attempt!

Hi folks

i've just received stand by tickets for this years britains got talent final, anyone thats been before have any tips as to what time i should be turning up to make sure that i gain entry?

cheers tannis, you reminded me to go and check if they updated the tickets, ive got some now Ive never been to a tv show live in the audience, but on the website it says formal clothing i.e. jeans etc.
For everyone else, go to applause store << to see which films they have free tickets for..

well we arrive for the audtions in glasgow 2 1/2 hours before the show and did not get in so i would say at least 4-5 hours, they turned away at least 300 people in front of us!! Oh and it was freezin!!!

Yup tell me about it. I was also at the Glasgow one and was turned away. Was a shambles to be honest. All I can say is if you want to get in go early.

We were at the Glasgow ones too and we made it to about 20 people from the front when they turned us away! Gutted!!! We were FROZEN as well we had been there for a good 2 hours as well.

We went last year and got in we got there 5 hours eary and we were near the back of the queue. Some people get there so early it was ridiculas. And it rained all day!

I don't know about the final. But for a Birmingham heat we were there 2 hours early, and people in the queue not far behind us were turned away. And yes it was freezing there too. Not as bad as last year though. It snowed.

The Op says this is tickets for the final, not the auditions. Therefore this will either be at Studios. Normally with the Applause store and other TV ticket companies they have a priority list and a standard list. priority get straight in and then the standard ones get in on a first come first in basis until the studio is full, this includes standby tickets.

The TV companies always oversubscribe for any programme as they need a full TV audience. That is why they never guarantee you will see your selected show. As this is for a really popular show I would suggest getting there some 4hours beforehand.
