Yes rest of UK as usually dont have a say its rather typical of media today they dont want to get off there backsides or organize a debate in the many regional studios up and down the country

Our voices are completely ignored most of the time unless you live or work in SE

Trent FM Arena Nottingham has joined forces with Trent FM to host ‘The Future Sound of Nottingham’ competition, which gives local acts the opportunity to perform at 7pm on Sunday July 4th as part of the venue’s 10th Anniversary celebrations.

Here’s how it works… The top five ‘Future Sound of Nottingham’ bands/artists will be voted for online by Trent FM listeners from a shortlist of ten selected by the judges.

Entry is free and you’ll catch all the action as five local acts perform here at the Arena – the region’s biggest entertainment venue, in front of a live audience and panel of judges. The winning act will go on to perform at the Splendour Festival in Wollaton Park on Saturday 24th July.

There is no need to insult all Londoners because Channel 4 have decided to host a debate there. They are no more or less entitiled to voice their opinions and I don't know what "real life" you are talking about.

London is the capital of the country and also a big travel hub, making it very accessible (if not quick to get to). It is in Camden after all so it is probably quicker for someone from Birmingham or Cambridge to get there than someone from Wimbledon.

They should have meetings all round the country, not just London, they have plenty of cameras.

Agreed the media as always leave the rest of UK I notice a worrying trend it seems to be most media concentrate on London, SE, and SW rarely going further a field.
Yet the BBC are relocating most of it's studios to Manchester.....
Personally I would suggest an increase in VAT on all non-essential items. Also to scrap the child benefit for all earning over £30,000 - it's £10 per week and I don't feel it's really necessary. Scrapping the huge NHS bills on translation services would be a further idea. If the govt are serious on ensuring that people speak English who wish to come to this ountry (as is the case in the majority of European countries). I would then only make translation service only available to asylum seekers....and don't get me started on the levels of management structures that are in place in all public services just to ensure and mnitor the target driven culture. All highly paid of course and contributing very little. Let the public services go back to being run by those who really understand it....I am not an economist and these are only my very biased opinions so please don't shoot me down.
