awww i sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo want tickets for top gear but apparently there the hardest ones to get!!! ive applied a few weeks ago anyway in the vain hope i might get lucky!!

Damzel_In_Distress I think you're going to be unlucky, there's thousand of people waiting for tickets. My friend has been on the waiting list for a couple of years I think :eek:

Have a look at sroaudiences.com too they're brilliant and have been to a few things from them. Others to keep an eye on are beonscreen.com , tvrecordings.com , http://shows.external.bbc.co.uk/ and lostintv.com

i applied in december and promptly got my tickets to britains got talent- im going on wednesday in manchester! whooo - cant wait...:D:D:D

I applied about 3 years ago for Top Gear tickets and finally got to go to the final show of last year. It was amazing and well worth the wait.

Yes it says about 1-2 years waiting for topgear tickets but i dont mind the wait at all aslong as i get to go!! i no its a bloke programme but i just love it!!

I had 2 tickets for Britain's got talent this weekend in Birmingham and then only yesterday, they were cancelled. It is very disapointing especially considering I have booked 2 nights hotel and parking.
Please bare this in mind if requesting tickets, I rang Applause store, they said "it happens, and there's nothing that can be done about it" hmm helpful!!
Also if anyone has any tickets they are not going to use please plaese contact me, Im so disapointed

I had manchester tickets for BGT - got there, was told it was full and that i couldn't go in. about 200+ people were turned away! we were so so upset and dissapointed! When they issue tickets they should tick off how many have gone and stop giving them out after they are full. They were no help when we phoned, just basically told us tough, tickets arent a guarantee :mad::mad: We had missed a days work etc to go to it. Like above poster says, please be careful and arrive very early!!

Daughter and friends travelled from Edinburgh to Glasgow yesterday for BGT and were also turned away with about 100+ others.
they ended up going to Primark instead!

In fairness to Applause Store they do state in several places that as they give out free tickets to shows they have to oversubscribe in order to cover no-shows (which are quite a few I’m sure). They do also encourage getting there early in order to guarantee your place, I’ve known people getting there for shows 1-2 hours before the start and only just scraping in.

They have a system where if you pay an amount a year you can get priority tickets to shows (Generally won’t include big shows however eg X Factor, Top Gear)

They do try to offer priority tickets to future shows to unlucky people who missed out on their shows, but I guess as so many were turned away they haven’t.

May be worth getting in contact with them saying that, and seeing if you can get priority tickets for another show.
