Hi everyone.

Just a quick post as Im off to work shortly. Was night shift last night and back in tonight.

So hugs to all those who need them and I will get on board tomorrow and hopefully get to know you all.

Trying to have a clear out of clutter, and I have come across my pile of old cards from our DS and my DH, I find it hard to part, how do you all handle it?

Thanks for all your comments about Katy's latest adventure.
Choc Orange without Katy's financial contribution I can't afford my mortgage, so needs must.
Busy girl, if Katy's exploits were made into a TV program, it would have to be shown after the watershed.
Anni & Suesy, I think she took the pics to send over MSN, to some guy she's been chatting to online, my main worry is that her MSN ID is her full name & as it is a very unusual name, I have visions of her being tricked into sending the pics to one of her pupils!

There are only 7 bananas left now from the 3 carrier bags full that Katy bought last Friday.
I made the yummy lemon cake, it's supposed to be for work, but I'm not sure there will be any left by tomorrow. Hubby has a full weeks work next week, Woo Hoo. DD1 has made an appointment for us both to see a mortgage advisor on 5th April.

It's been quite a sunny day here today. OH and I got a pile of stuff cleared out to the dump this afternoon, and am gearing myself up to the next batch. I made chicken curry for a belated lunch/early tea which was lovely and am just about to make a cuppa and watch the results show for "I'd do anything" on BBC1. The WM has finished, so will put another load on before the program starts, and afterwards will make the lunches for tomorrow. I'm feeling vaguely organised today for a change Then I can do a bit more crocheting this evening and relax before the start of the week.

I've bought my dress for the wedding, so now have to lose a bit more weight to fit into it - intentionally bought it a size smaller so that's motivation! :eek: Time is catching up with me: I can't believe it'll be June so soon.

Hester - is Katy definatly going in July?? Hope so for your sanity.

Well its 7.30 and its still daylight :j .

After the wet miserable start the sun came out and stayed out all afternoon.

Did ok in town, couldnt get a new outfit for DD but bought her some accesories to bling up an old one so that saved me some pennies. The shops were half full of sale stuff then the other half seemed to be vests and shorts.

A couple of loads of washing done and not much else, did cook everyones favourite dinner though which takes a lot off cooking but is just as nice and about £30 cheaper than our local american diner.

Treated myself with some birthday money to some Lush bath bars so am just about to jump in the bath with a good book.

hello all

well it stayed dry for the car boot but the field we park in was very muddy so will be washing the car tomorrow i think
the only thing i got was a winnie the pooh elephant for dgs3's birthday, he loves them all but doesnt have the elephant

the sun was shining so i had a walk round the village after making onion soup and pancakes then i took kyle and dgs2 and 3 to tesco
got a bag of pollack fillets now £1.60 instead of £1.97 plenty of taste and about 11 pieces in the bag

not read the thred yet - saving it till later!
been a beautiful day here! went carbooting and bought a sack of spuds and some cauliflower seeds. Took DS1 home this afternoon - he's off to a 2 day show at Bournemouth tomorrow with work so we bought a new suit this afternoon - very smart he looks!

Ds2 announced he has a girlfriend - not seen her yet though!(his first) he's 15.Might persuade him to bath a bit more often!:rolleyes:
Day off tomorrow, off to the dentist:eek: hopefully just a check up.

Just had to pop on to tell you all ds1 (luke) won his semi final 6-1 which means hes in the final at Alfreton Town FC ground at the end of April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hes so excited, as are we, hes not stopped smiling all day!!
