    Morning all!
Just popping on here for a bit before my marking starts-it's a day of marking, cooking and hopefully painting today.
All done with my NQT now so OH and I finally drank the champagne I bought when I got my permanent contract and we had HM pizza and cuddled up together watching the House marathon on Five US.
Got the Sainsbugs order coming today and need to bulk cook some mashed potato as we've run out, so I'll do the chicken and we can have roast chicken, mash, gravy and veg for our Sunday Lunch, yummy.
Right-o, I'm going to make a cuppa or something caffeinated-might just stick to a hot choc actually as I've got a sweet craving too!
Have a peaceful Sunday and hugs to those who need/want x

  • Argh, have just checked the meal plan thread, and it's chilli. I haven't got the mince out. Will probably switch it for the toad in the hole I had planned for later in the week. Can I blame work do you think?

Good morning every-one, Hugs to smokey and family.
I waited in all afternoon for the buyer of my car on ebay and he didnt turn up!! I have had no reply to my texts, emails etc so it isnt looking like a genuine buyer. Very annoying as i cant place a non paying bidder complaint until 4th april. Also I have to pay the final value fee to relist it(20 quid) I will of course claim that back.
Today its sunny but rain is forecasted. I wonder if i could chance the carboot sale:confused: I am obsessed still thanks to the shabby chic thread and the fact that my house is a tip doesnt put me off :o I had a dreadful night curtesy of my bl**dy back ,will have to see the doc soon me thinks. I am planning on a roast for Dinner today as we had a takeaway last night. :p Not alot else going on except the usual washing, cleaning etc. Have a good day every-one.x

DLB - crossing everything for Luke :D

Penny Pincher - rest up and take it easy

It's a lovely sunny morning in Oxfordshire today, shame I'll be mostly staying inside tackling the ironing pile

Roast beef for dinner with all the trimmings :D Gosh isn't beef expensive these days  Still there should be some left for sandwiches etc - which reminds me I must stick a loaf in the BM.

My Dad has just phoned from the hospital, he's settling in well and being well looked after :A The nurses at the Brompton are wonderful :D

Anway about to set up the ironing board whilst watching ER (Sky +) so I may be some time.

Have a fantastic Sunday everyone (((((hugs)))))
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Morning all
Hugs to Smokey & everyone else who needs/wants one.
It's Sunday & Katy has her evangelical hat on, I've been treated to a long & rambling story about the first man on earth (wasn't that Adam?) who died because someone killed a horse. When the horse was killed the first man dropped down dead. I have no idea what she is talking about, Sometimes she gets current events muddled with her scripture, she also gets confused between films & real life, as does her Aunty, until she came to UK Katy thought Pretty Woman was a true story & her Aunty still believes it, I did wonder if they were getting confused with Erin Brockavitch, both film have Julia Roberts in. I realise that this has very little to do with OS, but I hate being the only person who is confused, so I thought I'd share with you.
Roast Chicken & all the trimming today & then I need to make a packup for hubby who is working next week.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester
