I buy very little these days as well, but every little helps. With tcb, I use Kelkoo and another daily site, can't remember the name of it though. I also use it for insurance price comparisons, that get me 80p a time. I use it for my daughter to get cashback on her car and house insurance, she gets a cheaper deal anyway, and I split the cashback 50/50.

not sure if this has been mentioned, but here's it just in case :-)

read or heard or seen this tip somewhere, sorry can't remember source, but I've successfully cooked my dried pasta in a thermos full of boiling water. I guess it depends on the type of pasta and the thermos you have, but I usually leave it in for 15-20 mins and its cooked al dente, saves electric/gas, all you need is to boil the kettle.

Well, I've just cut the end off my old tube of after shave moisturiser (one has to look after the boyish good looks) to get at every last molecule of the stuff.

That's what I thought you meant but I didn't want to interfere (not like me!)

I bought a tray of beef bones from a butcher for a pound. Pup had one as was & I boiled the others for stock.

Pup has had three good dinners from the meat & stock, with veggies & stuff to help pad it out, & the resultant dripping produced some wonderfully nostalgic fried bread & eggs!
