Thats the opposite of how I feel... After 5 1/2 years of wearing glasses I still hate the way I look in them... Lost them for a couple of days last year so was walking blind until they turned up and my sister said 'you look so different without your glasses, I'd forgotten how pretty you are'.... Gee thanks sis...

family are great for things like that aren't they.

One thing I did forget to mention is that you will blink a lot more. Just one of those things but if you are having a video done you may notice it.

    How's everyone getting on?

I had another dress try on tonight and its gorgeous.

DD fell over at school yesterday and ended up taking her to A&E to have her wrist x-rayed this morning - nothing broken fortunately and was only in there for 45 mins.
Nipped into Instore after she had conned me into taking her to Macdonalds and got the marbles for my fish bowls £6 for 6 bags - bargain.

Wow MI, you and I are very similar:

    This is what we have:

May 2nd - OH away to friend's stag do in Newcastle (though he's got an ear infection so not sure if he's going to be well enough to go, poor soul)
May 10th - Wedding reception of OH's work friend
    May 24th - OH's best friend's wedding
Sometime in June - hen night for friend's wedding.
OH is going to 2 concerts in June too
    June 10th - Goddaughter's 2nd birthday
    June 25th - My birthday
    July 5th - Friend's wedding.
sometime in July - My hen night
First weekend in August - OH's stag do.

Phew! And in between that I still have to find time to go shopping with my bridesmaids for shoes and accessories, and move stuff into OH's house.

I swear in 2009 I am spending the entire year in my PJs and never leaving the house.

Glad to hear it wasn't broken paddington, hope she feels better soon.

And in the old days, pre child and church.. Every Sunday was a pyjama day in this house! (Apart from my G.O.O.D days when I was working 2 jobs obviously ;))

Hehe Oh well I will concede to changing y PJs once a week. ;) MY OH says I'm obessed with PJS as I have about 25 pairs! So I could live in the and not do laundry for 6 months. ;)

I know, part of me wishes I could be like Helene Bonham-Carter and Tim Burton - get married and just have adjoining houses.

Well, my Oh saw the doctor today and is seeing a specialist about his snoring so hopefully moving in with hi won't be quite so bad, as I feared.

I tried to print my invitations out alst night but have ran out of ink.

DD is fine - thanks to everyone for asking - she has already trashed the tubigrip and hasn't even gone ouch today :rotfl:

She went back to school (as she was bored yesterday) and was tearing about like normal when I picked her up.

Nothing stopped her talking or singing though

Friend got 4 tubs of flat blue glass nuggets for 49p each today so getting there with table decs now. Just need to order bowls mirrors and fish!

are you actually having real fish in the bowls  oohh make sure they dont get too warm or knocked over , my little one tried feeding the fish one morning (with coco pops) and another morning a bubble bath, needless to say they didnt last too long in our house but he was only just over two at the time
