Sure I saw something on BBC3 and it also said that much of then food is not dissimular to now although some stuff wasnt popular today...cant think why!!!
Seriously going to have to join the weight loss thread! All this baking is NOT good for my expanding waistline! That recipe Weezl has 3 nutmeg in it!! HOW spicy!

Here it is! Thought so..lots of other links on there too that may come in handy!!
ahh she's gone (weezl")! For those who may be vaguely intersted (some of course may not!) Mr & Mrs Weezl are having pasta which chicken & tom sauce topped with cheese (Mrs W misses cheese...) with garlic ciabatta and for pudding white chocolate creme brulee!! Yum! Hopefully a treat for them both, esp as they seem to have been feeding the 5000 this weekend! Hugs all! (ps just hoping neither of them are allergic to ommat I've cooked but suspect from descriptions that they will both eat pretty much anything lol!!).Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Not feeling good today(trapped nerve) so hubby took kids to nature reserve to give me peace
no such luck i made 2 bread loaves, recycled yesterdays leftover lamb into a casserole, made coleslaw and now making roast new pots to go with cauliflower cheese and the leftover lentil loaf for when they get back
So much for resting!!!
Anyone know anything about soap making i made some and i think i messed up checked the soapmaking thread on here but seems inactive??

Thanks Shaz - it was to late but wouldnt mind the recipe for another time as looks yummy & a great storecupboardish recipe! Hows the back? Would a heat pack/hot water bottle help?
Mr & Mrs Weezl have just left and enjoyed the food (either that or they're convincing liars!!) but I suspect that the highlight (apart from my beautiful cats who they clearly adore, although Poppy black cat says that she suspects Mr Weezle actually wanted to eat her!!) was having....milk in tea!!
I too am amazed Shaz that they manage on so little and the experement is proof that almost anything is possibe with a bit of planningNerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Well - thats certainly a case of eating things one doesnt think of eating in the 21st century - the sheeps feet that is. Yuk...even if I wasnt a veggie. Cor...she'll be giving us a recipe for tripe or stuffed hearts next - yuk!
The pudding would be edible by our standards I would imagine - but I'll refrain from that...too much effort by our standards.!
Must have made a change to have a "normal" meal last night!:D0
