Thanks LadyM. Weather looks pretty dull just now. We had thunder and rain last night. Hopefully it will clear up as the day goes on.
See you later, hope you have a better day today too.

Discussed appointment with OH. It was at 9:15am, and I'd have had to have got the 7:15am train to get there. He agreed to give me a lift, as it was only 10 miles out of his way to work. He changed his mind at 8am this morning, and said he was too tired to give me a lift. So I didn't go.
I chickened out of phoning them too, so no doubt I've completely messed up that opportunity for help. OH has also decided that therapy is probably going to be to expensive, and he doesn't want to just throw his money away. He is buying me an exercise bike though  cos that'll help!

Aww Fg.
[[hugs]]
Why did he change his mind? Men can be so fickle sometimes.
Do you think they'll offer you another appointment?
Sending love your way.

Doubt they'd give me another appointment. He thinks seeing as I 'chose' to be bulimic, I could chose not to be if I wanted to.
Just phoned the council to enquire about Housing Benefit. No chance I could get a flat. Would only be entitled to get rent paid on a room in a shared house, and with my mental health problems, I really can't cope with that. So I'm stuck here for at least 3 years and 7 months :-/Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
How does he think you choose to be bulimic? We don't choose to have eating disorders. For many people they are a result of how we feel about ourselves. about having control, or lack of control, about out self esteeem, about coping, etc. The reasons vary from person to person of course though.
To be honest, and please don't be offended, but it sounds like your OH isn't very understanding and supportive with regards to your mental health. That's only my opinion though.
That's not good about the council. Did they give you any other options apart from shared housing? Do you have any friends or family you could stay with for a little while?

He isn't very supportive or understanding. Some days he'll tell me I'm crazy and that he knows that I'm going to kill myself one day. Other days he tells me its just my age and I'll grow out of it.
Council didn't offer any other options. I can't stay with my parents. I've got my Brother, but he is newly engaged and only just moved in with his partner, so I don't want to barge in on them.
Just got to sit tight and wait till I'm 25 I suppose.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Sounds like he's never suffered with mental health problems to be honest. =/
I really wish there were schemes or projects in place for people like yourself who need to get away from a stressful situation. There should be more things in place.

Nope, he is completely normal (well, maybe a little co-denpendant) but never had any problems.
His Dad is Bipolar and keeps saying things to me like; "My Dad has a much worse illness than you, and he never cut himself". He thinks I'm being dramatic and attention seeking.
He won't go for relationship counselling either.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Morning Everyone,
Hope everyone is well and good today.
FG, sorry aout your missed appointment. Im sure they will offer you another appointment, just tell them there was no way you could of got there and make up something like you had no credit to phone them and that you really need this appointment.
Ive got docs in a bit as been feeling really low again. Going docs oes nothing though. I missed my appointment at the clinic as my medication is doing me no good.So it needs to be assesed and reviewed. Got so many appointments but keep forgetting even though I write them down. Got to have blood tests next week which I really dont want to. I dont know about anyone else but it feels like Im loosing my memory, I am so forgetful and clumsy, feel stupid most of the time.
Hope everyone has a good day.Hugs to you all xxx0 -

Hope your appointment goes okay. Let us know. I know what you mean about it doing nothing. Someone told me that the more times you are unsuccessful with getting help/support, the closer you are to finding what will help you. Will keep my fingers crossed for you. And I sympathise with feeling forgetful and clumsy too.
