I had a bad experience this week, they hurt me and weren't very caring, they adopted the 'stop being a silly schoolgirl' attitude. I found it psychologically disturbing. I want them to be caring but not patronising. These were women not males and about 5-10 years older than I am. I don't find they treat people like equals unless you are in the over 50s ugly female club. I would probably accept it more if I was 10 but I am in my mid 40s !!!!!!
When I am paying the sort of money they charge, I expect to be treated like royalty - that's just me and won't change now. When I spend my money, I expect good service, especially from professionals. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

i never meant to hurt anyones feelings and was so unaware that what i thought of jokingly with the strange soh i have as a coping mechanism, that i would hurt ppl who are such good friends.i hold you all in the highest esteem and this is said from the heart.
i hope you will treat any of my posts concerned as forgotten and accept my deepest apologies.
much love ilgd xx
I think I missed that one but don't worry about it, it triggered something from your past and you are amongst friends if you want to talk about it.
I fully understand how you feel, I was the same. I am simply being myself and people treat me in a strange way, it makes you wonder what it is about you. Am I ugly? Too outspoken, too this, too that? To be honest I don't care after a while. why please narrow minded people who don't mean anything?
I can usually cope with it and think they are the narrow minded idiots but when you feel under the weather, it comes back to haunt you and the paranoia comes back and bites you on the bum again. That is why I fear feeling low when I go out, they seem to get me, so do what I can to keep myself happy, so can understand why people turn to potentially harmful habits to keep happy.
I wish I knew the answer to dealing with recurring horrible feelings, you think you on top of it one day, then it comes back.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks LadyM. Weather looks pretty dull just now. We had thunder and rain last night. Hopefully it will clear up as the day goes on.
See you later, hope you have a better day today too.

This has happened a few times.
It frightens me.
I think I'm going out of my tiny little mind.

Do you have kids winding you up or are you expecting a delivery? Is it someone wanting to see you for a chat?
If it is kids, you have to ignore them, otherwise they will keep doing it.
I would find it really annoying too and don't tend to answer the door unless I expect anyone but I have good reason to worry about the people at the door.
Why do you fear people at the door? Have you had some horrible people bother you in the past?An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh lots of things happening today here!
FG, I'm sorry you missed your appoint. You really should try and get another one, can someone else phone for you? I know it's not good missing an appoint, I do it quite a lot and feel so awful, but they must be used to it happening. It may not help, but if you don't get there you'll never know.
It's such a shame your OH isn't as supportive as he could be. It's very unfair to compare you with others with mental illness, we are all different but all as important as eachother. Everyone deserves help and support, the difficulty is finding it. I had a psychologist once who could say nothing but 'get more excercise'... that was his answer to all mental health problems! Needless to say I didn't stick with him! I do think excercise can help, it keeps us busy, it makes us more healthy, but it's not the only answer! God, if only it were that easy to feel better!
I think relationship counselling could be beneficial for you both especially when you're not doing so good.
Diamond, sorry your feeling so low. I'm totally the same with appoints, I'm forgetful, and I am so clumsy. Think it's just part and parcel of the whole thing. Also have the same concerns as I'm on my own with my son, although I look after mine well too, it's always in the back of my mind.
Katie, hope your ok today?
CC, not feeling good today, on god, I hope you feel better soon. More OH troubles. Sometimes I'm glad I'm alone! South coast sounds really nice! What doesn't, compared to Glasgow!!
And SF, not good either, not a great day for lots on here. Hopefully the weekend will help.
LadyM, who the heck is scaring you? Try and ignore it, sounds like kids thinking it's funny.
ILGD, think things got blown up, no one ment to upset anyone and no one's at fault. Forget about it! What did you get done at the dentist, OMG I hate the dentist soooo much. I need a check up and will put it off and off. But better going, I know that! Need to write a note to remind myself to make an appoint, although I know I'll lose it! :rotfl:
Hope i've not missed anyone out, there was a lot to catch up on. Just hope everyone feels a bit better soon. Take care and hope you all have a good evening. I should go out and cut the grass, it's getting out of control, but I bet I don't do it!!

4 mins to the weekend....and the first weekend without exam stuff hanging over me for 14 weeks!!!
However the housework and gardening that has been ignored is now screaming at me.
Talk later and love to all
