razorbladekisses wrote: »dawnylou Please don't be so hard on yourself. You're unwell and that can't be helped. Do you not get paid if you are sick? Have you ever been referred for CBT or had psychotherapy? I'm glad your OH is being supportive
What medication are you taking atm? You're right drugs won't fix you but they can allow you to cope on a day to day basis. Do you feel any better since you started taking medication or do you feel the same? (((HUGS))) Take care of yourself xxx
How are you feeling today?
Hi RBK,
People keep saying that to me you know, but for some reason I continue to be hard on myself. Maybe I feel I deserve it?? I don't know.
I get 6 months full pay, but used that up last year. After the 6 months our insurance kicks in which covers you 75% of your wage for up to 5 years....but they wouldn't pay out.
I am very very lucky to have my Fiance. I can't believe he has stuck with me for so long. I really don't feel I deserve him at all and that he should be with somone much better than myself but there you go
I was referred to a counsellor, but I never got anything out of that at all. I don't know what the difference between this and psychotherapy is?
When I went back to work I was on Lofepramine 140mg per day, and I felt I was getting back to normal, but after a few weeks at work I was already back in the same mess I was before I went on the sick - crying at my desk all of the time and stuff. I couldn't get a doctors appointment and I didn't know what to do but I came to the conclusion that the drugs obviously weren't helping if I was coping no better with them and so stopped taking them hoping that I would settle back down and be able to get on with my job. I had a good couple of weeks and was feeling quite positive about things when all of a sudden I took another nosedive.
So now I am not on any medication at all, but I am back at square one where I just cry all of the time and feel pretty worthless
I never wanted to be on medication and would really prefer to not have to rely upon medication just to be able to get on with my life but what can I do?
I know that on Monday I will pretty much get a 'told you so' and be promptly stuck back on drugs.
The problem will never go away really. Just masking it and going to work every day with this smile plastered onto my face...well I'll never get anywhere.
I don't even have a coping mechanism!
I have felt pretty good today. Especially thanks to Tiff!!! :T :A
But now I am starting to feel this drop a bit....Dream of being mortgage free....

Lol, the neighbours were playing music really loudly (Grease, in case you're interested). I've had it a few hours, and now I'm sick of it. So I opened all my windows, and after a few seconds of Avenged Sevenfold on full blast they've turned theirs down
I wouldn't normally mind, but Muffin hasn't been sleeping too good and she's in bed now.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Hi guys!:hello:
White rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits!
..........Am I the only one that says little sayings like this?
Mum taught me as a kitteh, that you're supposed to say this as the first thing said on the first day of a month for good luck. And with my luck, I need all the help I can get!I've been saying it as a mantra this morning in case our gilly-badger is mad at me - loves you gilly!
- there's already evidence of someone trying to board up the catflap!
Oh - before I go...a mini news flash re. gazzer...I see he finally took my advice about not doing the map-reading himself any more and got himself a...
And yes guys, I think he did look similar to the man in the photo at some point in history.
Some of us posted piccies many threads ago - what do you think saz hun, is it me or does this look like the gazzer or not?
If it's not gazzer, would the man in the photo please email me at...:j Sorry guys - catnip starting to kick in.
I'm feeling a little deli-cat-e today, due to an unusual late night TV session...so be gentle with me please guys!
In fact, I'm off to reassume the position.
Have a great Sunday peeps and be kind to yourself.
Much Love,
