What are the Subway prices like? We have a Subway here that is newly opened but I've never been inside. :)

    xx

Subway is a great place to get a nice toasted Bagette, you can take it out or have it in at their tables, but I went to my church to see friends today and took my lunch there to eat it :) You go in and order and they make it up for you, staff are friendly too :)

Off to watch Holby City now or shall I say Holby Kitty :)

    Katie :)

I think I sort of forgot to tell you all I got accepted on an accounting course... They said I could do it as an apprenticeship as long as work would give me the time off and that way the £1000+ course fee would be waived... All good, the course is on a Tuesday, which is my day off anyway, so my manager says great, go for it etc...

Spoke to the tutor today and he says he wants to come into work and do a health and safety inspection... I asked my manager and she refuses to allow him into the secure area of the counter... Bye bye meyore's apprenticeship :(

I'm ok, but a little bit upset because somebody said something to me on another thread and I'm not sure if it was an insult or meant to be sarcastic but it was about something that I'm very insecure about. Probably just me being stupid though.
Nope, plumbers didn't come. They keep doing this. Saying they are going to come on a certain day and then never turn up. It messes with my head. :(

    How are you hun?

    xx

Sorry the plumber didnt come. I hate it when they dont show up and dont even tell you. You have tomorrow to look forward to hun.
Im sorry you are upset, I have had the same thing happen to me on another thread and it really upset me.I have seen many insults and nasty things written on this site and cant belive those ppl are still allowed to be on here but i suppose they dont get upset like us.
Im ok, feeling pretty down, havent felt this low for a while. Not sure why, its everything and anything that is upsetting me,im really struggling with life. If i didnt have my son I would of ended my life and all this misery a long time ago but I cant now.Its so hard trying to carry on with life when nothing is going right.I feel a failure as a mother, useless and rubbish. why is it that ppl can be hurtful and blame you when things are not your fault.I have an urge to sh but am stoping myself from doing so. I wish I had some proper family that loved us and cared about us, somewhere we can go when things are bad but there is no where. My brother is off to cyprus for a few months so im not going to have him either and he is all ive got.
    Thanks for listening.
Better go as getting bath ready, chat soon.
Hugs, love and kisses to you all xxx

I'm so mad and sad at the same time, I can ill afford £1000 but I guess I'll pay it because in the long run it'll give me better prospects. I'm looking for a new job right now, but I only want to work there for the next 13 or so months until me an OH are married, then we're moving to Newbury. Who'll employ me under those circumstances, at least where I work now its accepted that I'm leaving, will someone else take me on or would I have to lie?

    Hello again everyone!

I am once again sorry to read that so many of you are suffering at the moment, whether with present difficulties or painful memories, or both.

    Thought I'd share this:
    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/health/article3850302.ece

The drug Ecstacy has been successfully used to treat "flashbacks" caused by emotional and physical trauma eg abuse, and Post Traumatic Distress Syndrome(PTDS), where talking therapies have failled.

    What do you all think?

IMO, painful memories are in our unconcious (ie we can only recall them as flashbacks, or not at all) for a reason:-
That these memories would be too much for us to cope with mentally at the present time. If we do try and bring them to "the surface" before we are ready, eg using techniques such as hypnotism, the results might be catastrophic.
Perhaps the best way is to try and achieve the best measure of emotional and physical stability you can in your life, which should help your mind in its own healing process.

May I wish you all peaceful minds (as our bfm would say)

    Take care everyone

I agree with Diamonds and Lady M

I suffer, flashbacks, visions, nightmares etc... But would never consider taking it to help with the symptoms of PTSD, main reason being one of my mates dying because of this drug, in my honest opinion, drugs are not always the answer, they may work for some, but not for others, we all react differently to different types of medication.

I wouldnt say there is a miracle cure for mental illness not just as easy as taking a pill or whatever, it takes time, alot of support, and to be able to let the mind deal with the issues that haunt us.

So i basically agree with you

    hope your ok today

    take care
    xx

Hopefully they won't come tomorrow when I'm out because it will be sods law if they do.lol.

A majority of users on here are sincere and nice, but then there are others who don't give a toss about anyone's feelings, and even some that are out to be spiteful to others. I try to stay out of their way, but it's hard sometimes if they follow you around.lol.

Im ok, feeling pretty down, havent felt this low for a while. Not sure why, its everything and anything that is upsetting me,im really struggling with life. I'm sorry you're not feeling good hun. :( *hugs* It's great that you have your son and he keeps you going. Just remember that you are a great and wonderful lovely person. You always put a smile on my face, and I'm sure you put a smile on many other people's too. :)

I don't have children (yet anyway) but I am sure that if/when I do have them I will see myself as a failure as a mother too, even though I know that others won't see me like that. Sometimes we beat ourselves up other things. I don't think you are a failure as a mother. I think you are doing so well for not sh-ing. Sometimes the urges can be strong, but you are a fighter and I'm so proud of you for fighting them (sorry if that sounds condescending. It wasn't meant to. :)).

Are there any friends where you live who could help you when you need it? Or just be a shoulder to cry on? Sometimes it's hard with a lack of a decent loving family, and a lot of the time it can make us feel like we're struggling alone. If you ever want to express all of your thoughts/feelings/frustrations here, you know that we will always listen to you, and always be here to support you. :)

    Thanks for listening.

I'm always here to listen. :)
I hope you have a nice bath.
