Thanks for reminding me about the hair cut. I forget things easily nowadays. :rotfl:

The closest Primark is in Stevenage I think, which is 30-odd miles away. Closest Peacocks is 10 miles away. That's why I do most of my shopping online.lol.

We have an M&Co here though and the teenage section in there is quite generous with the fit and everything so I might have a look in there tomorrow or Thursday. We have a New Look too, and a Dorothy Perkins. We used to have a great shop called Basement. The prices were great in there, but it closed down. :( A lot of shops here seem to be closing down lately. I don't think the independent stores really do a lot of trade in this town.lol.

Just remembered that I need to pick up my prescription too. =/

Has anyone here ever used Bio Oil to reduce the appearance of scars? I never realized that mine are so bad before and I don't want to spend all summer covered up because I'm ashamed of them. :( Is it any good?

    xx

Thanks for the nice words you wrote earlier. It means a lot to me.
Do peacocks sell online?I hope so as then it will save me going in to the shop lol. I hate shopping as I dont like being out in busy places.Makes me on edge.

Thanks, you have just reminded me i have to ring docs. I cannot get repeat prescription yet as Im still new in the sugery. Its such a joke the way they do things. I have to see the doc to get my meds.Twice they did it wrong.

Ive heard of bio oil but what does it do for scars. I have a lot of scars on my arms.I have a very deep on which nearly killed me.I passed out and got rushed to hospital, dont remember much but i cut right through and my bone was visible.Would never sh that bad again.I hate the looks I get, I hate having to cover up in hot weather so I dont get looks like im a mad woman, well I am a mad woman but a nice mad woman. Its so hard when i pick my son from school coz some parents can be very !!!!!y.

Hope you enjoy your da tomorow and treat yourself as you deserve it.Hugs xx

No problem. I was only telling the truth. :)
Yep, they do. Here's the link for you. :)https://www.peacocks.co.uk I love their clothing. Great prices too. :)
I know what you mean about feeling on edge. That's why I do most of my shopping online. Occasionally I'll have a good day, and I won't get as panicky when I'm out but the panic is still there.

How long do you have to wait until you can get repeat prescriptions normally? The doctors here don't have anything like that in place. It's just a case of either doing it online and collecting it, or putting the request into a mini letterbox and waiting two days - and even new patients can do that. I guess some areas are different. =/ It does sound like a farce though (am I using that word in the right contest? .lol.)

http://www.bio-oil-direct.co.uk/ There's the link to the bio oil site. It's supposed to help reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. I need it for the scars and stretch marks. :( I have a lot of what are called "strawberry scars". I only found out what that meant last week, but apparently they are scars that are very hard to fade. =/
You sound like you really have been through the wars. :( I have never cut that badly. Only enough as that the wound kind of gaped and now I have a very wide scar on my arm and it's pale strawberry pink and noticeable. :( I most likely did need stitches for it but at the time I was more worried about the stigma of being labelled if I went to A&E.
I get horrible looks from people. They asume I'm some sort of attention seeker (I've heard the whispers behind my back) but we know that we're not and it's not like that. Now I only wear t-shirts indoors and always have a long sleeve jacket or top on outdoors but because the weather is getting warmer now, I'm not looking forward to being the only one with a long sleeve top on in a crowded town centre. :( People can be so cruel, and it really p!!!es me off how judgemental some people can be. You hold your head up high hun, beause you have been through c!!p and you have come out the other side. :)
Hope you enjoy your da tomorow and treat yourself as you deserve it.Hugs xx

Thank you. :) Do you have anything planned for tomorrow?

A few of my friends make greeting cards and sell them at craft fairs. :) They say that it is addictive too. :)

Where are you going on holiday? Once I get better I'm planning to go to Butlins. It's my favourite place to be. :D

I'm planning on getting Wii Fit, but first I need to get a Wii. :rotfl: Is it good? I really want to tone up so have just purchased a dance mat for my dance games, but Wii Fit is supposed to be excellent.

I understand about the motivation thing. I lack it a lot of the time. Sometimes I can't be bothered to even get up to make a cuppa (as lazy as that sounds but when depression hits...it hits big time)

    I'm Anni btw. :)

    xx

I'm off to Spain for a week with my 24 year old daughter. We have a girlie week every year, usually my best friend comes too but she's skint at the moment!

I did try selling my cards and sometimes still do but unfortunately people are not always willing to pay for the amount of time and effort that goes into a card. Because they are hand made a lot of people expect to only pay a very small amount but are only too happy to pay £4 for a shop bought one.

The Wii fit is great, I'm overweight (obese really!!) and am on a healthy eating plan and as I hate exercise normally the Wii fit is going to help me tone up and get fitter. I only do 10 mins a day at the moment - working up to 30mins as I have high blood pressure too and I just want to ease myself into it all. My OH keeps on that I should do it every day but he does it late in the evening and I hate that so today, as one of my tasks I'm going to do 15 mins during the day and start getting myself better.

Had to phone into work and tell my boss that I've been signed off for 2 weeks. I hate speaking to her (she's part of the problem!) and luckily I had to leave a message on her voicemail! She will hate that but I really don't want to speak to her. She reduces me to a quivering wreck! LOL!

Part of my motivation problem is that basically I am lazy! I know its not the way to be and I need to get my backside in gear but at the moment it is such an effort and so hard to explain to people who don't understand (like OH - although he is being quite supportive really).

I'm looking for another job but its not going to look good on the CV or reference when it shows I've had 3 weeks off sick in the last couple of months so that makes me worried that I won't get anything and will be stuck where I am! Also I have to give 8 weeks notice and I don't know if another employer would wait that long.

    Morning Everyone,
Hope all is well and everyone is feeling good.
Shaz, sorry you had a bad nights sleep. Maybe you have a lot on your mind, thinking doesnt help and when like that switching off is really hard. I was like that the night before, couldnt sleep till after 3am, maybe thats why i was down yesterday. Still not 100%.
Hi LadyM, hope you get to go out today and treat yourself.
I have no plans today tbh. I have no energy. There is so much housework to be done but I just dont have it in me. I still havent ordered any wardrobes. I dont want to spend loads, I looked at the canvas ones in argos but they are never in stock.Might sit in the garden a bit later, catch a bit of sun.Anyway hope everyone has a very nice and easy day.Much love
