Hi, I have a Sony Ericsson W810i locked with O2. Is there an easy way of unlocking this phone?

sim reg failed either means:
a) sim card hasnt been registered or is expired - if it works in another 3 phone then it isnt this
b) phone hardware problem (doubtful)
c) phone is barred - most likely -esp as it is from ebay
ask 3 cust services and they should be able to tell you if it is blocked.
if it is then file ebay claim and paypal claim if poss (unless he will refund you)

cheers for feedback mate but i mighthave blocked it i was given an unlock code by a chap that nlocks phoes online and i had 5 triesand now i am waitin for my new sim to arrive but i decided to try my sisters sim as she is on 3 but it said sim registration failure so i might have locked my phone is there anyway to get it unbarred???? any one please halp as i ned myphone to work to keepin touch with my boys (weekend dad)

it should still work on 3 even if you have used all your code tries (you only get 3) only way you could get a working code would be from 3 database
the phone can be reset to get the 3 attempts back but not cheap and i dont think that is the problem - i still think it will be barred
