Just some notes on Expert stuff:

I was told today that the Expert soap and the Expert chapped lip stuff for 1.59 were NOT part of the 3 for 2 sale. Which was no big deal, I just got two soaps instead of three, and was still able to use my 100 points voucher.

Expert tins: The main shelf where these were hasn't been restocked since they ran out over the weekend, but I found two sort of laying flat (so they were hard to see from a distance) on a different display of Expert products. I scooped them up as there were several Expert things I had been waiting to buy until I could find more free tins. It looks like *if* your store has Expert tins, they are likely to be on some special shelving display of Expert products (like at the end of an aisle). And don't rely only on asking staff if there are any tins about; I was told there weren't anymore, then found some on my own. So basically, have a good look around, keeping an eye out for Expert stuff on special displays. HTH

I have never judged what people do on here each to their own. Lately I read but don't post same reasons as yourself and I have found myself judging which I don't like.
Same here rubylou, and as we're both near each other, it'll look like we've been in cahoots today. I'd just like to mention that we haven't.

Those that have abused the recent glitch might think they've 'screwed Boots', but in doing what they did, and as blatantly as they did, only succeeded in screwing themselves, and other Bootsers - imho.

Here here dollardog :T you had the gutts to say what alot of us are thinking.
Like we have said before i guess it is what our conscience will let us do and if other people don't think it is bad to remove soap from the gift in the first place and then to take items back for a refund then that is up to them but i know i could never do that, i don't want a glitch to work that bad! and there is a fine line between taking advantage of an offer and taking the mick. As with all glitches bulk buying highlights the problem to head office and it won't be long before they will have had enough and crack down on us. And like dollardog said it is so easy for boots to know what your doing the AC acts like a tracker and they can see every transaction done.

Sorry, I know I'm going to be shot down for this, but I don't consider its something well done at all. To get an offer through a glitch is one thing, but to take advantage of the offer then take the stuff back to be refunded on money you haven't spent, just to get the extra points is totally another....
So fire at me as much as you like.

Thankyou. I'm a relative newbie and have read these posts with both astonishment and unease. It's these practises which will make stores tighten the way they work - there is some indication that a major grocery chain might not accept/tighten their coupon policy because of abuse. Like others, for me it's the thrill of the chase to take advantage of glitches (Boots' short-term mistakes), but another to commit fraud. A major chain recently changed their returns period to 14 days instead of 30 days, I suspect because of people abusing their generosity. People can't see the forest for the trees.

Someone mentioned that they used the ACM voucher and PC voucher to get 200 on botanics baby wipes. where did the PC voucher come from? I have loads of PC vouchers but none I can see that would work with this?
Think it was in the mailing you get after baby is born? I've run out now, but will still just use 100acm voucher whilst they are at £1.83 on offer as I *think* this runs out next Tuesday? 83p is still great as they are fab wipes and nice slim pack for 64.

I can't actually see the posts referred to (about returning free items for refunds) although I've not looked too carefully - I'm guessing that these have been reported and then deleted for referring to illegal activity???? (which is contrary to the policy of the site)

Not been shopping since Saturday Ruby, but OH went on Sunday - brought back loads of 'masculine things' like Expert tins  ...lol. It seemed strange not seeing any make-up or 'girly' things :)

All being well, I'll be out Bootsing tomorrow, but if it's as bad as you say, I might ask oh if he'll go further afield. If I spot anything that's anything like a bargain, (highly unlikely lol) I'll get 3 of each :D Save on your shoe leather ;) x

Still haven't managed to track down any elusive ( by me anyway! ) nail kits, spoke the the fab No7 lady instore today to see if she could order any for me...advised her that had the item code...decided to check again with CS as she found it strange that CS said they had stock when they didn't. Anyway spoke to lovely man in CS he did a long search for me and finally found that the item number previously quoted was for a NO7 nail kit not the summer nails kit. The code for the summer nails kits is 3774414 and this item has now been discontinued therfore stores cannot order them in.
