Hiya, I'm new to this, so I hope you guys can help me out ;o)
I have a voucher for 500 points whne you spend £10 on baby products.
I would like to buy some wipes, and they are on BOGOF. Will I get the points, even if I only part with £5 after the BOGOF has been deducted, or do I have to actually hand over £10, before I get the points ?
Hope this Q makes sence ;
Thanks ;o)
buy 10 packets of boots own wipes at £1.99 each (if on BOGOF) and add something small to make upto the £10 spend,i add a jar of baby food. Also have the slip that comes with the 500 points entitled you to double points on all boots own baby products. You only need to do this once and it will be registered with your card for future purchases.
500 points when you spend £10
40 normal advantage points for your shopping
40 for purchasing boots baby products as mentioned above
75 points from advantage machine for £10 spend
and also if you have a double points coupon you would get another 40 points
695 points for £10 spend0 -

I think I'm ready for bed for a couple of hours now, then off to Boots with the tips and tricks I have learnt :j
Thanks again everyone for posting it has kept me entertained since about 3am lol (its now 9am :rotfl: ) Never mind lol!
A bit of topic but I know the Next sale was a 2 day sale, but will I still be able to return sale items in exchange for others if they have them iykwim?
Oh and went to Boots Wed, Fri and Sat last week and no expert tins to be found  SA's are under the impression its an old GWP and looked at me as if I was mad, I was like mark my MSE words lol of course didn't say this hahaha!

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but at Leeds Birstall store yesterday, I got an ACM voucher for £2 off Boots Expert Sensitive Facial Spray. These are on 3-4-2. Got 3 of these and the Expert Dry Mouth Spray, (with 3rd off, plus points from acm & mag), THEN, got 2 Free Expert Tins!
£3.99 x3, plus £1.99 (reduced from £2.49) = £13.96.
Less £3.99 (1 free) Less £2.00, (half price) less third on spray (approx 70p)
=£7.27 or thereabouts..PLUS 2 FREE Tins! & loads of extra points! (250 from memory)
I thought this was pretty good! Maybe I'm just easily pleased!
Has anyone seen any No.7 Nail Tins in Leeds anywhere?
Also, does anyone know a Store that has a good stock of Digi Cameras?
I want to get one with my points, but stocks seem to be dwindling. Wonder if they're winding down the Camera's like they did with the Ipods?
(was after a Camcorder, but haven't seen any 'in-store' for ages now- unless anyone can help on that score too?!) Even .com is 'lacking'!
Thanks to everyone for the recent glitches!makinprogress0 -
Morning all
Shattered cos spent too long on various forums last night - need to ban myself today and do some work!
Just wanted to say that I also think the staff in my fave Boots are brilliant and this includes the manageress!! She's let me get away with things in the past "just this once because you're a good customer"(500 points on a £1.50 clearance item - SA called manageress). The younger ones often comment on my bargains or points totals so I give them little tips. (I can remember what it was like being an 18 yr old working in Woolies for awful money!!!). The look on the SAs face when I bought the P&P, foundation & concealer combo + med soap was priceless.....told her what to do and she said she couldn't wait for her break!
Here's to Boots SA's - long may they not bat an eyelid at our shenanigans! :T0 -
Meds bag and soap DONT work in Solihull branch tried yesterday and as soon as i gave her the bag voucher and the soap, the SA said "you only get the soap free" lol maybe the SA comes on here lol0

Marie Claire have done a good write up for Clinique Almost Powder here:
http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/beauty/botd/206832/clinique-almost-powder-makeup.html
It has extra points on Boots online here:
http://www.boots.com/brandrooms/clinique.jsp?productId=020714325282
but has anyone tried it and have any advice for a pale person like me?

When are people on this thread going to realise that SAs can like a bargain just as much as anyone else?! So what if the sets were all bought by staff, thanks to me reading this forum every set in the branch I work in was sold to staff, that meant that lots of people had gifts for cousin such and such and auntie so and so, just that same as all the non-SAs who bought them in every other branch!
Also, people on here have been known to say things like "I only bought 10 sets because that's all I could carry, if I'd had someone with me I'd have bought the lot!"
I have to say that the SA's in two of my local Boots are lovely and so is the manager.
I laughed during the 75% off sale I heard the manager saying the staff where buying more than customers. The customers where not aware it seems. Unlike me
Also the SA's tell customers when things are BOGOF and when there is a GWP and will even leave the till to go and get one for the customer. So my locals get the thumbs up.
Good luck to them getting the bargains. I would have loose my job in retail as I would tell rude customers to get stuff but probably a lot more ruder.
I say :T to all SA's and thank you for the good job you do.
Yours
