Keep an eye out in your local Boots, Basingstoke has reduced the Ted Baker bags again so I paid £2.25 for the large bag with the mirror and the lilac bath scrub thingy! So glad I resisted last week now:D Also got a Botanics bag which is pale green and opens up with two see though sections for £1.50. There were quite a few reduced bags, make up bags etc all with 75% off.

Got a wooden massager for 44p (these were in the same area as the washbags etc), and a nail buffer with cream half price at £2.50 all these were from the normal shelves not the clearance counter. They also had alot of half price nail files, false nails etc.

Bought Smile mouthwash and toothbrushes from the clearance counter at 99p each - smile products are BOGOF so effectively got them for 2 for 99p.

Basingstoke also has the Expert tins, got a body buffer and the dry mouth spray (with 150 points from the ACM) and the free tin - seemed to be plenty there.

    Hope this helps somebody :j

I really couldn't agree more with the comments about the outrageous behaviour shown on here in the last few days.

What annoys me the most though, closely followed by the fact that it is dishonest and illegal, is the fact that we all moan about SA's that won't let us put vouchers through, or won't let us have GWP's when we haven't spent enough money, or who won't let us have something that scans for free. It is the greed of some MSEr's that is making this an issue. If you pay £1.50 for £16.50 worth of goods, and then return £15.00 worth - this will be noticed. So HO make SA's more cautious - check all vouchers, question things that scan free, make sure total cash spend is appropriate for GWP. And as a result of this, we all miss out.

I remember when I first became a member of this site (my old username was Mich1984, and I can rememeber when hardly anybody used to know about the Boots 75% sale!!), and there was a distinct lack of greediness. We were all just pleased to have got something for less than it should have been, but nobody went and cleared the shelves.

I apologise for this long rant, but I've wanted to say something since the online sale and I've bitten my tongue. I won't even get started on that.....
I don't believe in doing things the easy way..... :)

Not been shopping since Saturday Ruby, but OH went on Sunday - brought back loads of 'masculine things' like Expert tins  ...lol. It seemed strange not seeing any make-up or 'girly' things :)

All being well, I'll be out Bootsing tomorrow, but if it's as bad as you say, I might ask oh if he'll go further afield. If I spot anything that's anything like a bargain, (highly unlikely lol) I'll get 3 of each :D Save on your shoe leather ;) x

You need to hire your o/h out esp to me;) Doing his own Bootsing *wonders if he might like some male company ie my o/h*:D

Would like to see if you can see Ted Baker bags reduced. Full price in PC, 1/3 off in KR and 1/2 price in KW:confused:

You might like the Botanics toiletries bag I got for £3. I know you like your bags;)

Still haven't managed to track down any elusive ( by me anyway! ) nail kits, spoke the the fab No7 lady instore today to see if she could order any for me...advised her that had the item code...decided to check again with CS as she found it strange that CS said they had stock when they didn't. Anyway spoke to lovely man in CS he did a long search for me and finally found that the item number previously quoted was for a NO7 nail kit not the summer nails kit. The code for the summer nails kits is 3774414 and this item has now been discontinued therfore stores cannot order them in.

Ah, thanks aMeLia'S~MuMMY, that makes sense, no wonder there's been so much confusion.

I was recently given one of those survey spits and praised the SA, does anyone know if the SA will get a reward of some type?
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

Ah, thanks aMeLia'S~MuMMY, that makes sense, no wonder there's been so much confusion.

Just to add to the confusion lol, there's also another nailset that seems to reappear spasmodically. That was the £18 Ultimate Nails (I think?) and was my very first Boots bargain - marked down to £4, went through the till at £2 and had 200 points in it! I was gobsmacked :D and then hooked :o

With regards to the goings on with the Med glitch, Dollardog thank you for saying what's been on my mind too.
It's easy to get carried away when there's a glitch like this. My own rule of thumb is simple, "Would I be proud to boast to my children about what I'd done?" If the answer is No then I don't do it.
Each to their own, I'm not anyone's moral guardian but I do feel uneasy when I read about these things on these pages. You girls are experienced Bootsers with a keen eye for a bargain, we respect you and I'm sure there are a lot of people who never post that do too. Please think twice about what you post though, you could be influencing someone to go out and try the same thing and as others have pointed out, the consequences could be serious.

Now, back to Bootsing. Psst...where's the clearance stand?
