So how are these twisters doing it? They must have spyware which does the deed.0

Another victim here - just noticed a charge on my credit card from SHOPPER DISCOUNTS for £8/month dating back at least a year. Absolutely no trace of this in my email archives, so I have no idea what purchase might have triggered it.
Strongly worded email duly sent.0 -

Strongly worded email duly sent.
Further to this I gave them a call today and it would seem that the name and address they hold against my credit card aren't actually mine. This does therefore beg the question of how they were able to charge my credit card when they don't have the correct name and address of the cardholder.
To their credit they have arranged to refund all charges made to my card since they were initiated in November 2007.0 -

I inadvertently ended up subscribing to shoppers discount from an Interflora £10.00 offer voucher after ordering flowers online, unbeknown to me Interflora, unbelievably, passed my card details on to SD. I have only just twigged that £8.00 / month has been going out of my account since June 2007. Have been in touch with IF and SD and am getting a full refund but it really is outrageous that they have done this & I won't ever use Interflora again for their trouble. As for SD how many thousand of other people’s accounts are being inadvertently milked of £8.00 every month - what a great scam!0

Just discovered they've had me too. My so called "registration" with Shopper Discounts goes back to May 2008 when I booked flights with Easyjet. I called them yesterday to be told I would receive a refund for the last 3 payments within 10 days. I've had to fill in a form and post it to their office in Sevenoaks to claim the rest back. I've written a strongly worded letter with my form which I have also e-mailed to them saying I want a full refund by 31st May or I am taking them to a small claims court.
The woman on the phone even tried to make out that I must have forgotton that I'd registered with them after I'd book my flights. Had to bite my tongue from getting aggressive - talking to me like I was senile! When I book my flights I go through all the details carefully, and even remove the insurance to make them as cheap as possible. I'm hardly likely to go throwing my money away somewhere else to a company I've never even heard of. I hate to think how many other people they are still taking money from as this has been going on for over a year now. I'll be checking my bank statements a lot more after this.0 -
Just found mine when checking my statements!
Have emailed The TrainLine and complained. I will not be using them again.
I now keep googling "train tickets" and clicking on the add they pay for !
Disgusting behaviour. I found the part where I agreed to the payments, on an email with a line with no wraparound. The sentence was about 3 pages wide with that at the end.
Hope they get fined big time !0 -

I have also vowed to never use Train Line again if for no other reason they charge £1 per booking and also levy a charge for using a credit card. You can use the individual train companies which come up with the same offers but without spurious extras.
It makes me wonder who precisely runs the Train Line, maybe the same people that run the scams complained about in this thread? All these ads on TV about being a sheep because you went to the booking office are rubbish. The choice is not between them and the station but between them and the very sites they search when you make a booking.
When, say. the Radio Times advertises, they have to point out that "other listing magazines exist" (or similar wording), so why are these crooks not made to point out that other rail booking systems exist? Also, by using the train companies, you can look into whether splitting the journey up will come up with lower fares.
All that said, it has to be added that rail fares are a minefield. Very complicated!0 -
Does any know how I can e-mail easyjet? I've just tried using the customer service e-mail, but all this does is send me a reply telling me to find my answer via their web forums.0

Even if you get a reply, they'll deny all knowledge.0
