Morning all, tired and stiff this morning but got to go to real work in the am. I think I'm allergic, but should only be for an hour or two.
Sympathies to all those up before the crack of dawn, if I don't get back on later hope you all have a good day.0 -
Morning Everyone
Just got ready for work. DH and DD are still asleep although dd will have to be woken in aminute. Somebody phoned at 6.50 this morning but I think it was one of my friends babies messing with there mobile phone. I'm at work until lunchtime and then its back to collect dd from nursery. I may pursuade dh to do a family activity this afternoon but I don't know what yet.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

Hugs to Smoky and the children hope you all had a restfull Easter
Twink hope the meeting goes well
Jet i think i would go with the less money ,less travelling job as you can always change when the kids get older but you can never spend the time with them again
Well dont know what to say but was shocked and appalled at the e-bay style auction of poor Benthos Boy he has probably been up all night rocking in a chair with a shotgun pointed at the door in case one of you turns up:rotfl:

Morning all.
SMOKY - thinking about you and wishing you strength to get through tomorrow. Will be saying a special prayer for Eric tonight and special prayers for you and the LOs. Always in my thoughts.
(((Hugs))) to all in need.
Thought I'd pop back on with my cuppa. BM is on, WM is on, iron would be on but I only have three things to iron so I shall leave that until tomorrow. It's a lovely day here at the moment - blueish skies and sun, so not too bad.
Well, you load of hussies harrassing that poor innocent boy last night. He's probably too scared to come back on! I never did find out who won - I know it wasn't CSARINA because she has already told us the motorhome wasn't parked on her drive this morning!
I'm going to the gym today because it's the first anniversary of it opening so should be fun. Do you know, I've just looked at this keyboard, really looked at it, and it's disgusting - full of fluff, dust and crumbs! I shall try and vacuum it with my minivac but TBH I think it's going to need more than that. Any tips, anyone, short of drenching it in white vinegar, bicarb and Stardrops! I keep a child's paintbrush to dust it with - or rather, I did, till DH saw me using it and decided he could use it to clean the fiddly bits on his dashboard! I shall have to buy another one. Does anyone know if it's possible to take the keys off? On second thoughts, no, that would be a horrid job - there's too many and it would turn into the kind of job you wish you'd never started. There must be another way!
Listen to me waffling again!
See you later.

Morning everyone:hello:
I haven't read the rest of yesterday's thread yet - what have you all been doing to Martyn! Must go and check.
Hugs to all those who need them, especially Smoky and children.
jet77 - congratulations on being offered two jobs - well done! It's a very diffficult choice for you, I think I would probably take the lower paid one (I tend to try to go for the less stressful option where possible), but I just wanted to wish you luck whichever option you choose.
elaine & pipkin - hope your backs feel better soon.
Well I think it's going to be a fairly quiet day here (I hope). We've got a day off from painting MILs house, as DS2 (14) has been invited to an astrophysics day at Sheffield Uni, so hubby has gone with him on the train to make sure he gets there, then hubby is off to London with my brother to watch England play tonight. So I've been left to my own devices! Sadly I think I must catch up on some long-overdue housework, would much rather spend the day curled up with a good book.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
pay day :j and a good pay too. moved the extra in to mastercard acc. so its almost cleared again. keeping my fingers crossed that wages I am owed from 2004 will be paid tomorrow. thats's no typo, that is really 2004! don't believe any politician when they say nurses have had their payrises in full. Agenda for Change  you could bet your last dollar they wouldnt have waited 3 and half years for money that is owed to them!
today I am determined to have a productive OS day.

BM is on with a nice loaf of wholemeal, should be finished just in time for lunch - yum warm bread, can't wait!

((hugs))) to those who didn't sleep well with bad backs - Pipkin and elaine x
I watched the old fashioned diet programme in between chatting Bentosboy up last night - a girl from work was doing the Edwardian diet - Kristy, she lost loads of weight and looked fantastic when she came back!
Plans for today are to straighten Ds2s hair before his friend, who is female comes down to do some revision, do Mums cleaning and make some cakes for the British legion coffee morning. Also got to help DH out stamping our number on the baby pigeons wings in case they get lost. Back to work tomorrow:eek: but I dont mind too much as I have missed my friends.
Am thinking of you Smoky and the children (((Hugs)))
