Hi all.

Would you believe that 2 of my creditors have called this evening,which included the 1 that didnt care that i'd suffered a stroke.I'll try and give you a brief description how the conversation went.....

Them....you going to pay us or we taking you to court?
me....No i aint paying and i cant pay
them...ok you leave us no alternative but to take you to court and dont think by playing the you've been ill card will work,have you anything to say??
Me...yes, would you like me to give you my bankruptcy order number that i got today or would you like to waste your time preparing all the paper work?
Them....you cant go bankrupt, you owe us money
Me...for a minute there i thought you tried telling me what i can do......there was a then a silence and the line went dead.

They didnt even ask me for my number. I have to say that the OR i spoke to was so nice,he really put me at ease and just asked me to take my time and that he would be there for me whenever i need totalk to him.Just thought i'd share allthis with you.

Hi Frodo,

who was the creditor again? I would certainly make a detailed account of them and hand this to the OR as unfair behaviour, there are laws and regs that they must obide by, consumer credit act or OFT regs...something like that....

i would suggest they have not a clue what they are doing etc....wouldnt worry about it at all...they are only concerned with one thing...i cant believe what they said about the 'playing the ill card' - maybe you should say would you like my ward number next time or speak to the doctors!!!..

Nevermind....you are BR now...let them threaten you with court!! it would cost them and still be disnmissed in an instant...hahaha on them.

Hi you two,thanks for your support, i'd like a membership number as well please.To Dave, the credtitor is a debt collector that is acting on behalf of 1 of the big four banks, i did suggest they contact my GP and it would cost them to get a report from him to which they replied I would have to pay.
