I bought £100 worth in 1990 and in 1998 one of them won £100, so practically doubling my investment in 8 years.

Nothing since, it grieves me to say...
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
  • Just seen someone with a £100 holding has got 25K, so it can happen

That's not bad - if my maths are right, you'd have needed something like a 5% interest rate after tax between 1990 and now in a savings account to get to the amount you have now.

I've got the max amount in PBs, almost all only put in in June/July this year, and I had 3x50 in Sept, 2x50 in Oct, and just 1x50 in Nov......worrying trend  but I am gonna hang on in there for a while longer, I am sure my ship will come!
  • Recently bought £30000, came in six blocks of £5000.
For the first draw (October) got 3 x £50 wins
    This month (Novemebr) got 1 x £100 and 1 x £50.
Wpuldn't mind if they keep that up, works out at 6% pa tax free.
Would be nice but not holding my breath!
  • Forgot you can check on the NSandI site.

    I won 2 x £50 for a 23k holding. Just topped it up from £750 I had in a month or so ago :-)
