The facts don't tend to support the sentiment expressed by grumpy unsuccessful punters on here - every month there are indignant complaints about this, and defiant intentions to withdraw, but the bigger picture is that the total number of bonds in each draw rarely drops significantly, if at all. There were over 100 million fewer bonds in this draw than the previous one, but anyone feeling that this would give NS&I a bloody nose might be better to observe that the August draw still involved over 99.9% of the number of bonds in July, i.e. it's just trivial rounding errors in the general scheme of things....Stargunner said:It appears from reading posts on here that quite a lot of people are taking money out from PB’s this month. Hopefully it may encourage NS&I to increase their prize rates, to encourage people back in.2 -
Me £775 on max (£500 + 2 x £100 + £50 + £25)
Wife £250 on max
Total last 4 months (both) of £2275.

£125 for me on circa 47k
£225 for OH on FH
I'm at almost £1,500 from the last 6 draws which feels pretty decent to me. We use pbs as cash savings while we wait for some other funds to finalise so they make sense for us. We may rethink our holdings later in the year, but for now we need the reassurance of having them available should we need them.0 -
Full holding for last 7 months. Total winnings of £575 over 7 months. Return = 1.97% Truly abysmal. Withdrawing all bar £1001

Finally a decent win:
£300 on max holding0 -
£50 on max holding. Only once in the last 18 months have I won an "above average" win, with all other months winning just one prize (£50, £25) or nothing at all. Seriously thinking of taking all my money out and putting into a one year fixed for a £250 a month guaranteed return.1

£75 on max, coincidentally had an unexpected bill of £75 today!! you win some you lose some!0

1 x £100, 2 x £50 on max. £1700 for 2023 to date which I reckon is about 5% (and have to take into account what rates were in January) so ahead of the curve so perhaps have to brace myself for some blank months0

Yes, that's exactly what this thread is for.ColdIron said:I can't see the point of this thread, just random people posting wins or grumbles about no winsBut I won £750 this month. Woo Hoo. Hurrah. Yay

£475 off £49k this month (4x£100, 1x£50, 1x£25). Follows on from £100, £125 and £150 the last three months so a nice upswing this month.
