I no longer use the website, the price checker app much quicker to just open and check without having to login and it shows last 6 draws as well
  • Appears to be working okay for me on chrome on a laptop...

£25 on £10,050 holding. That is £75 total since first draw on £10K in July. Best savings account by far however with the rate drop I am considering cashing in just for simplicity on my savings

After my first month with £50k invested I now understand the temptation to announce my winnings to the MSE world.  The main website still not showing any winnings but the check winnings site tells me I've won 2*£25.
I do realise that this says nothing about what I might get next month, nothing about new bonds winning more than old ones, nothing about my luck compared with others.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • I can’t believe anyone would ever think new bonds win more than old ones. There’s no mechanism by which that would be possible.

There were so many daft old wives' tales about premium bonds that NS&I felt the need to have a section of its website specifically devoted to debunking them - it doesn't seem to have survived the latest redesign but included:
Myth: Only new Bonds win prizes
Each £1 Bond has an equal chance of winning, regardless of when or where it was bought. Over 95% of eligible Bonds have been bought since the year 2000. So even though Premium Bonds have been on sale for over 60 years, this is why newer Bonds seem to win more frequently. When ERNIE randomly generates winners, he doesn’t store any numbers, so there’s no way any Bonds can be left out.

Myth: Old Bonds are left out of the draw
Winning numbers are generated randomly and then matched against eligible Bond numbers afterwards – numbers aren't entered into or stored in ERNIE so there's no way that any Bonds can be left out of the draw.
  • Rubbish again this month, 1 x £25 on full holding and nothing last month.
serves me right for getting £650 last December.

    4 x £25 on max holding.

I checked using the Prize checker on the new NS&I website homepage (top right), worked OK for me using Chrome browser on a laptop.
Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk

Knowing how incompetent NS&I are - I wouldn't be so sure.
The cocky attitude expressed in that myth-buster is the sort of thing the Test and Trace organisation would have deployed - right up to the point when it was discovered that their transfer of data resulted in loss of data.
In any competent design review the adamant assertion I've emboldened would have been bawled out for what it is - a fundamentally incompetent conclusion drawn up by an idiot.

My husband has been trying for the past three months via their website, without success, to have any winnings paid directly to a bank account rather  than being paid by paper warrant.  Nothing seems to happen despite all the correct option boxes being ticked.  Took me two months to complete the same process and in the end after multiple attempts to reach somebody on the phone the issue was finally corrected manually.   I imagine with Lockdown starting again and more NS&I employees working from home again, admin processes will take even longer.
