On the big winner table, there are figures for "Holding" and for "Bond Value" for each big winner. Out of curiosity, what is the difference between these two amounts?

Bond value is the value of the single purchase (block of numbers in a single entry in your bond record). Holding is the total value of all bonds held.

November big winners have been announced. Nothing for me in there but I did notice one apparent SNAFU on the list of winners: the "area" for one £10,000 prize is given as "CM19 7". Considering they are only supposed to give the general area (NS&I say "To protect winners’ identities, they only reveal specific locations if at least 100,000 other premium bond holders also live there"), is there a vast enclave of Premium Bond holders in the Harlow area?

Even more bizarrely, CM19 7 doesn't seem to be a valid postcode area. CM19 only has codes starting with 4 and 5. Let the conspiracy theories begin!
TBH I wouldn't put it past the government to have fictional winners for premium bond prizes as they haven't shown they care for the truth in any other avenues.

Maybe ERNIE randomly generates postcodes for the big wins and then they get mapped to an area, as CM19 7 doesn't exist it showed the random postcode rather than the area? I think ERNIE is really just =rand() in a spreadsheet that they paid billions for.
The list has been amended now and the area is just showing as "Essex" (bond number starting 310DN). Odd how a non-existent postcode was listed though. I suppose it could have been a typo, which led to the non-existent postcode being input which then couldn't be resolved to an area.

  • Zero for me on £9,250. Won £25 on the first two months with £6K but nothing the last two months since I topped my holding up a little.

    £25 x 1 on 13k

Think that is fifth month in a row of £25 prize, one month there was 2x £25. So far it is beating the savings accounts by far.
