  • A measly £25 this month on the max holding, total on the max over 11 months is £575, so slightly better than average according to Martin's tool.
December was my best month with £125 (5x25) and I've had one month with nothing.
    Fingers crossed for next month...

"i have a friend who swears by premium bonds. She has 6 accounts maxed out and it is her only investment. She loves telling me she is winning all the time. She has never worked out what her return on her £300,000 actually is over a year."

How does friend have 6 accounts maxed out?  Only allowed 1 per person?

FWIW, 2x£25 on my one maximum holding.  Pleased to get something.

Nothing, again, on my £1 holding held since 1965.

£25/25/25 this month on max holding. So, three months with nothing at all! Then 500/25/25, then 25/25/25 then 25/25/25.
Total £775 over seven months (or eight if you include the first ineligible one). That's 1.5%pa and I have another four months to improve on that. Been pretty good for me after a poor start.
  • I put max holding in at the end of June, so this is my first draw - 5x£25 won so can’t complain!

Several weeks  ago I went online and opted to have future prizes paid direct into my bank account instead of being paid paper warrants yet last month I won £25 and was still sent a paper warrant.
Have logged into NS&I to check my new payment option was correctly registered, which it was.   Anybody else having this problem?   I've just won £25 in August so wondering how this prize will be paid.    Perhaps there is a Lockdown backlog with staff still working from home and delays in requests being activated?

Yes, I'm wondering how anybody can hold more than one NS&I account unless you hold them in different names, maiden name and married name, but when you open an account don't you have to quote a National Insurance number or something.   So long since I opened mine I can't remember what info they require.
  • First draw on max holding was July 5x25 August 3x25 interest rate is so rubbish thought I’d see how premium bonds would deliver. I’ll know more after 12 months
